Very Good To Excellent! Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
So far, this is my first and only CD by GazettE. I think the lead vocalist has a very attractive and wonderful voice and is an excellent rocker. I gave 4 stars iTunes rating to the title song and Crucify Sorrow for the reason that I prefer a cleaning sound on the instruments. These two songs are excellent, especially the first one which is very pleasant with the mixed-in female chorus which usually is not my favorite type of composition.

Very good Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
I really like the Optical Impression of "Filth in the Beauty".
"Filth in the Beauty" itself is a very good song. Most of the lyrics are in English, and it is highly recommended to listen to the song about 10 times with the lyrics by your side, to truly understand what Ruki is actually trying to sing. One of the scentences is actually "Dad which fell into the trap"...
Don't worry, it took me about 5 times to find out he actually DID sing that! ^^
But enough about the lyrics, the music is very good, even though Ruki is beyond understanding. I truly adore the guitar solos, and seeing the PV of "FitB" makes it even more awesome. The drums also have a very cool sound in the song to my opinion. .
The making of Filth in the Beauty on the DVD is also nice to watch, not all that much of excitement, but at least The GazettE talks! ^o^ (can't say that about the "Hyena - Optical Impression").

Then the second song on the CD part! "Rich Excrement".
The title falls into the bizarre, literary translating it ^^;
But that is not an issue! The song has a very rough sound, more like "Maggots" . Ruki does a lot of rapping and grunting, actually no singing at all.
During lives, certain parts are replaced by the switch between Ruki and Reita, which makes the song honestly said better during lives than on the CD itself. Yet, when feeling angy or in a bizarre cleaning mood, put on the song and it is asured your work will be done a whole lot faster! haha ^^

It is one Optical Impression that I think is worth buying, yet, when not interested all that much in footage, the Auditory Impression might be better, because "Crucify Sorrow" is truly an awesome song! Beautiful, but this one, is one to have and to keep. Don't be afraid of Ruki his English! He's improving! ^o^

Gazette Continues to Deliver Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
1. Filth in the beauty / I've already goshed over this song so much back when the PV first came out that now I'm at a loss as to what to say. Yes, the brilliant fusion of R&B and hard rock kicks ass from Thailand and back (actually, it's probably from Japan and back). The female vocal enhances the song and gives it that extra "omph". Ruki sings in English throughout most of the track, but of course, no one can even tell what he's saying. :D Nevertheless, Filth in the beauty rocks hard and has become one of my favorite Gazette songs of all time. (Someone had suggested that this song is about incest between father and daughter. All I can say to that is: f**king hell!)

2. Rich Excrement / I've already made fun of the song title in a previous post, so let's just skip that part. A street-punk rock song in which Ruki raps through the entire track, Rich Excrement reminds me of previous works like Maximum impulse and Maggots. The track features the same type of call-and-response found in Gazette power songs: Ruki growls out lyrics and the rest of the band roars back in answer. This is a phenomenonal headbanger and will be another hit live song, I can already see it.

3. Crucify Sorrow / I really looked forward to hearing this song in full after listening to the preview. I'm glad to say, it doesn't disappoint. This track is designed to showcase Ruki's rich, dynamic voice. Ruki finally sings instead of screaming and yelling into his microphone and I applaud. For some reason, the bridge section tends to be my favorite part when it comes to Gazette, and this is another one of those songs. Ruki sounds simply exceptional.
