　　高中生Wendy（瑪莉伊莉莎白雲絲蒂德 - Mary Elizabeth Winstead飾）正享受她的青春年華，為慶祝畢業與友人到遊樂場玩個痛快。誰料踏進樂園的一刻，卻是噩夢的開始……

　　登上過山車時，Wendy忽然看到一些怪異現象。她的男友Jason（Jesse Moss飾）安慰她，說這只是幻覺。不過Wendy雙眼突然通靈，看到過山車上的人都會死亡。

　　為了安撫憂心忡忡的Wendy，她的同學Kevin（雷恩梅利曼- Ryan Merriman飾）十分關心她。這惹來Lewis（德薩斯巴圖 - Texas Battle飾）的嘲笑，大家吵成一團，結果整班人都給趕出過山車。

　　不幸地，Wendy預言正確，過山車發生意外，所有乘客慘死。僥倖逃出生天的Wendy，發覺惡運並未脫離她和她的朋友，因為他們一個接着一個死於離奇意外……

　　Wendy偶然發現，所有死的人竟然都出現於當日在遊樂場拍下的一張大合照內。為了拯救友人和自己，她和Kevin決定賭一舖，用妙計躲開死神的魔爪。

　　When a high school student fails to stop the fated roller coaster ride that she predicted would cause the deaths of several of her friends, she teams up with a schoolmate, in a race against time to prevent the Grim Reaper from revisiting the survivors of the first tragedy.
