Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Ring of Fates (Japan Version) Nintendo DS

The majority of Final Fantasy takes place on Sony's consoles, but Nintendo fans have not been forgotten! Aside from various classic ports for both the Nintendo DS and Gameboy Advance, Square Enix is releasing Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates, an all-new sequel to the classic Game Cube RPG Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. Players begin with a party of two: fraternal twins Yuri and Cherinka, before meeting new party members in a sure-to-be epic quest.

Unlike the usual turn-based gameplay one associates with role playing games, Ring of Fates is a hack-and-slash adventure game where players venture into the world alone or with friends, who can connect via a wireless mode. Players can adventure together, or can compete in many minigames. Control is handled primarily through the D-pad and action buttons, but special attacks can be accessed using the touch screen and stylus. An involving story, plenty of puzzle solving and exploration, and impressive visuals and music highlight this first original foray into the Final Fantasy universe on the Nintendo DS.
