One of the earliest Milkyway Image movies, Final Justice shows the same thrilling tension as in the company's later films such as Too Many Way to be No.1 and Lifeline, both staring charismatic actor Lau Ching Wan just like Final Justice. Director Derek Chiu, known for tackling social controversies in his movies, explores the ethical and moral struggle within a young priest played by Lau Ching Wan in this Johnnie To-produced film. Almen Wong plays a sexy woman who frames the priest and brings him to court. Eric Tsang takes up the role of a vicious gangster and Carmen Lee, a money-oriented lawyer. Despite their corruption, they are the only ones who stand on the priest's side.
Young and unconventional Father Lee (Lau Ching Wan) fails to resist sexy girl Donna's (Almen Wong) seduction, and she subsequently accuses him of rape. Abandoned by his church and followers, Lee has only two persons in the world to help him. A gangster (Eric Tsang), who confesses to Father Lee every time he kills some one, hires a young female lawyer (Carmen Lee) who takes law cases only for money and is willing to even fabricate false testimonials. Can justice only come through the breaking of promises? Will conscience outlast all the evils?

Father Lee (Lau Ching Wan) is young and unconventional. He fell into temptation and was sued by Donna (Almen Wong), who accuses him of rape. Lee faces a lawsuit and abandonment by his church and his followers. Gangster Mr. Gum (Eric Tsang) is willing to help and has hired Ku (Carman Lee) as his defending lawyer. Mr. Gum believes in silence by violence, while Ku would rather try false witnesses. But Lee refuses to attack Donna in court for fear of hurting her again. In the end, Lee proved to Mr. Gum and Ku that conscience does in fact exist in this corrupt world ruled by power and material desire.

Ching Lau and Almen Wong heat up the screen
| This movie is a hot one. Almen Wong seduces a priest, then accuses him of rape. The acting is convincing, and the story is solid. Almen wong exudes sexuality throughout. A trail of lies embroil the leads in this film. A must purchase! |
