I was very suprised how good this show was. The only bad this is the subtitles are very very bad! Yesasia should have a rating chart on the quality of English Subtitles, (poor, good, excellent). |

Firework and how!!

This was the first story that I've seen that was mature and thoughtful, as opposed to the Cinderella stories we usually see. Lee Young Ae is a superb actress and this story truly showcases her talents. It is the story of a young woman, who buckles to pressure to be married before she realizes her dreams for her career. On a trip she meets someone who she is attracted to and has a one night stand. Both people are engaged to others, but, recognize that they have met the person they would be better off with. The plastic surgeon that she meets is engaged to a doctor who comes from a dysfunctional family. She, Lee Young Ae, is engaged to a businessman from a very traditional family who totally dismisses her writing career in favor of her being a stay at home wife. The businessman, unfortunately doesn't realize that this situation is stifling his bride and although he tries to help, he too is ineffective in resolving the situation. All of the acting was excellent and there were fireworks in every chapter. The only complaint I had was the English subtitles weren't very good, but, the action was such that one could understand just what was going on. I recommend it highly to anyone who wants to see a good dramatic series with a more adult theme. |

Love vs Tradition Independence vs Duty

Lee Young Ae got caught in all kinds of dilemma that have to do with her independence in love, in career and in duty of tradition. She was again excellent in this series. I don't know much about Lee Kyung Young. I liked him a lot for his role as a mature doctor who is suffocating by his wife's smothering and scheming dependence on him. In this series, true love triumphs at the end (not without cost, but that's life). The whole series may not deserve a 10. But for Lee Young Ae, a definite 10+. |

THis is the worst of all the k-novelas I have seen! There were no FIREWORKS AT ALL!! my goodness! The story is so lame yet the director managed to DRAGGED it for 34 episodes! Story is so long without sense !it is repetitive of the already established conflict! The ACTOR IS not even goodlooking!hayyyyyyyyyy what a waste!!!! AGAIN, as always, this Korean telenovela depicts how arrogant AND barbaric KOREAN MALES are! WHY KOREANS HIT WOMEN AT ALL IS BEYOND COMPREHENSION! WHY DO THEY LIKE VIOLATING WOMEN? |

Problem with DVD discs

I liked this drama and have seen it before I bought the DVD. The quality of this DVD is a bit disappointing. You may find some disc cannot be loaded. Also, there's a few seconds 'blackout' in disc 11. I bought this as a collectable item, but the quality itself didn't serve the purpose. I hope 'yesasia.com' will consider removing this from the shopping list unless they can source this series with better quality. |

Simply great..please watch it!!

This was simply great!! I have watched quite a lot of korean dramas and this is simply great!! The most amazing thing is that you will like both actors in this drama, before I started to watch it, I really didn't like them, I thought they were not good looking and just didn't like them, but as you watch it, they are alright!! It proves that you don't need a pretty face to make ppl enjoy the show, this makes me like it even more cos usually liking a drama has partly to do with the beauty of the actors/actresses, but this one didn't rely on that!! Lee Young Ae was simply great in it!! You just love her chartacter..she is a great actress and I really like watching her! I really want more people to know about this drama and go watch it!! It really is very very good and highly recommended!!! |

Great drama

This is an excellent drama. Lee Yeung Ai portrays a woman who against all odds, fights courageously to break out of the stifling rich family tradition that is slowly choking her. She slowly plods to get out of a one-sided love and family that is burying her talents and ambitions to live the life she wants, hurting some people in the process unintentionally but inevitably. It is good to see such an uplifting drama, at the same time sad to see how the actor, despite his career ability and his deep love for his wife, is buckled under his own family's strict traditional values, thus unable to gain the love that he so desperately needs. The love between the two main stars is so deep and strong that one does not rebuke them (at least not the audience) for their 'mental' adultery with each other. I love this drama and I think Lee Yeung Ai and the rest of the cast did a great acting job. |

It's a good drama, pretty and handsome cast involve. Alot of love and relationship involved within the main couple and the family. It's kind of drag-on in the middle of drama, but it worth of finish the whole drama. I like all the characters and thought they all did has great acting job. Congrat. Lee Ae Young, I love her hair styles, eyes and outfit within this drama. It's looks really cute and mature woman. The main leading actor is kind of old, but I think he did carry out a great job with his role as main male leading role,and there alot of heart touching part and crying. Overall,it's not as bad as I had thought, and I would definitely recomend other to watch. There no sad or stragedy ending in this drama "YEAH!"
