It's an okay series........ Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
I finished this drama today and have to say it was just okay. It was very slow in the beginning that I almost stopped watching. The girl (Sung Yu Ri) was not that pretty and special to have the 2 brothers fell head over heals for her. Not too convincing to me there. And they really didn't show how Cha Tae Hyun fell so madly in love with Sung Yu Ri and how at the end the Yu Ri suddenly fell in love with CTH instead of choosing the older brother(Kim Nam Jin) whom she loved throughout the first 3/4 of the show. That left me quite puzzled. The chemistry between the 3 leads are quite weak in this show. I'm afraid to say Kim Nam Jin I do not found handsome at all and his acting was quite stiff. CTH was pretty good and charming playing his "royal prince", a bit exaggrating in his acting at times that one might find annoying. The parents' love story was strange, kinda boring actually. The father was so mean to CTH in the beginning and even more so after he found out KNJ was his son and favored him. However I must say the scenery in this drama was awesome. It makes you want to go to places like Bali and Tahiti. The ending was ok, kinda feel sorry for Kim Nam Jin--father died, girlfriend left him for his brother, and CTH still hostile towards him and didn't recognized him as his elder brother. Overall a so-so drama that has some funny and touching moments.

I love this series more than I can put into words. Touching love story. Filmed beautifully. I wish that YesAsia would release with English subtitles and add back the two episodes that were cut out of the series.

I Loved this Series!! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I tuned into "First Love of the Prince" on AZN cable TV here in California after watching the Phoenix series, which I loved and bought! My strong hope is that "First Love of the Prince" will be available on DVD 1 with English subtitles soon. I absolutely recommend this series to anyone who wants to see the power of love and how it transforms people as well as their lives. It was fun, completely enjoyable and touching to watch. The casting was perfect for this story. This was my first time watching Cha Tae Hyun (Gun Hee, Prince #1) in action. WOW, wht a talent! He is also a singer. His acting ability made me experience anger, laughter and tears. Sung Yu Ri was the perfect choice to play Yu Bin. Completely adorable, she would melt any cold heart to the ground. Kim Nam Jin played the part of Mr. Cha, aka Prince #2. He played it well and it needed to be played just as it was. There had to be more than just a personality difference shown between the 2 princes. Yu Bin needed to know which one actually loved her and would take the time to keep loving her. She had a bitter struggle inside her heart for these 2 men. I admired the way the writer characterized Gun Hee as shallow and selfish in the beginning then slowly revaled the reason behind his unhappiness. His relationship with Yu Bin was very rocky from the outset but weaved into one of the most poignant, deeply moving displays of love I have been privileged to watch on the screen. Filming locations were absolutely beautiful and the musical sound track is excellent. I bought it and have been enjoying it even though I don't speak Korean. Please make "First Love of the Prince" on DVD 1 with English subtitles! I'll buy it!

Oh yeah and another thing I hated... Customer Review Rated Bad 0 - 0 out of 10
It seems like at some point in this series, Especially after CEO Choi died, that the two brothers would end up making amends and at least TRYING to get along...that was another disappointing aspect in this series... and I will go ahead and tell the ending... cuz it sucks anyway... Gun-Hee goes back to Tahiti to try to "forget" Yoo-bin, Yoo-bin does a bunch of sobbing and crying and junk, and then Cha sends Yoo-bin to Tahiti with Choi, and bows out like a loser, and then Yoobin-ssi and Gun-Hee get together and kiss and then it ends with them in the middle of the ocean again, only Gun-hee actually waits for her to finish swimming this time... stupid... kinda left me hanging... cuz at the last scene, you kinda know they're together, but you're still not really clear on that, because of how it goes off... and Gun-hee was very mean to Hye-Mi, and even though she was kinda mean to Yoo-bin, after a while I started to feel kinda sorry for Hye-Mi... She was really pretty and loved Gun-hee and he treated her like crap after a while... anyway this show needs ALOT of improvement. What would've been brilliant is if the writer made several alternate endings... that would've been pretty cool... and they should have a part two of this series... a chance for the writer to fix some of the errors made in this show...

I would NEVER buy this show because of the ending... it's terrible... i makes no sense... to me, its not even about who she ended up with, it's just the ending, PERIOD... AWFUL!!! the show was good up until the ending.. let me down very much so... ACK!! terrible...
