Wonderful concert, perfectly captured on DVD Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I'm really glad I bought this DVD! The setting in the Taipei Arena was splendid, and it was amazing to see so many fans waving their glowsticks in tandem to Jing Ru's performance. Jing Ru sang so beautifully (as she always does), and the selection of songs was perfect with its mix of classics, new hits, and covers, showcasing Jing Ru's great vocal range. Even though I've heard many of the songs multiple times before, Jing Ru's wonderful live rendition in this concert means it's like discovering all these wonderful tunes again for the first time. Her rapport with the audience was fantastic, with both banter ("remember to shout encore as loudly as possible!") and heartfelt sentiment mixed in. She was clearly touched by all the affection showed her by the legions of fans in the arena. I especially love the encore performance, starting with the always charming 寧夏, followed by the lovely acoustic guitar pieces "Let's Fall in Love" and "If", where she was sitting close to the audience and the setting just felt so natural. The final song 三吋日光 ended the concert on a perfect, gentle note. The DVD nicely captured this celebration of Jing Ru's songs, and though I wish I were there at the concert in person, this DVD allows fans like me who missed it the chance to experience the great atmosphere at the Taipei Arena that magical night. All in all, a great concert in a grand setting, with peerless, wonderful singing by Jing Ru. Definitely a DVD I will rewatch, and highly recommended for fans of Jing Ru!

Well, first of all I agree with Funky Monkey Baby, I, too, thought Fish`s voice sounded weak in the start of the concert. Maybe she was nevous or the venue didn`t agree with her. But unfortunately, I didn`t think her voice improved much, and, inmy opinion,she did not do too well vocally. Visually, though, the concert was wonderful. The colours were bright, the lights just right, the text on the screen not blocking the view. But I didn`t enjoy it as much as I would if she had sounded as good as she does on record. I liked it some, but I don`t think I`m going to watch it again.

So I recieved my copy of this yesterday! (^.^) It came in beautiful packaging + a cute Fish Leong cellphone strap so I was really happy!!!!!! Now, to the DVD features!!! The concert was Fishy in a HUGE arena - unlike her other concert DVD offered on YA. There were thousands of fans waving glowsticks and holding Fish Leong "fish" signs! She opened the show with her star track from "j'adore" (the song of the same title)! Everyone was really excited. She sounded very nervous on this song which could've been caused by the tall heights she was standing from! (0.0) Anyway! She got comfy quickly and performed some of those beloved hits & fan favorites of hers! (n_n) !! Hee-hee! It was BEAUTIFUL. The outfits were prettier than I expected and she looked beautiful. The overall stage setup was GIGANTIC - including a runway & stairs. Her connection with the fans was there through & through! She even rode out on a (pretty big) train & shook hands of the fans screaming in the audience! =p !! Hehehe! The energy in the arena was so strong, I thought Jolin Tsai or S.H.E were coming out to perform! XD hehehe! So much hype for a mainly-ballad concert. Buy, anyway! It was more than I expected for this show. (n_n)

I'm happy with my purchase & I think it was ever bit as worth the money!!!!!!! Thank you, Fish Leong!! Happy 10'th year anniversary too~!!!!!!! Can't wait for more years to come! <33333 Your GORGEOUS singing voice has once again left me with stars in my eyes! (*.*) hehehe!!!!!! LOVE IT.

I HAVE BEEN WAITING TOO LONG..! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Ever since recieving my copy of "j'adore" CD+photobook+highlights DVD of this concert, I have been waiting so long for this. I've seen the outfits, the setlist, & heard snippets..all of which made me anticipate more! FINALLY, I can preorder this. Ahhh! FINALLY! I've been saving 30$ for it especially. I really think this is going to be Fish's best show she has ever done & I love all the songs chosen as the setlist. The outfits are a little whacky, but if you're used to Chinese stage outfits (and Las Vegas performers....), I'm sure you'll find they are quite nice. XD I really love the cover chosen for the DVD & I can't wait to finally see it. Thank you, Fish Leong! It's about time. (X_x)''
