Near Perfect Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
I shall explain why i did not give this album 10 stars, the reason behind shall be relativity. Compare to their debut, this album is slightly below it, because, their debut album is PERFECT. no one in the industry can deny that, it's so good that, it's so hard to make another album that's on par with it.

Nevertheless, this album still never fail me, with faye improved singing + ian genius in music arrangement, it's a album that everyone should buy. I love their music arrangement, it's simply genius, the melody is nice too.

Overall, i think all the songs are nice, their duet is a new experience but the song i like most is "juan Lian" it a FIR song, with faye vocal and the music, it simply brings out the meaning of this song. I couldn't stop listening to it.

Keep it up FIR...

great album!! Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
even though the wait was very long
but i'm glad f.i.r's 3rd debut is such a success

compared to their second album..this one has a lot more variety..more new trials..and more originality

some of the tracks that really got to me were...

track 2 - very lively and upbeat..it adds a little bit of techno into it (but not too much like 'unlimited')..but it does give a 'get high' feeling..

track 4 - they have some experts from a famous song (currently forgot the name)..and incorporate that into their original work too..so there's a bit of creativity with a mix of the old and the new...also..there's a guy's voice in here!! =)..it's not only faye..so more like a duet..very well delivered..the guy should sing more on their next cd..cause his voice is quite good..and both of their voices blend very well together

track 5 - this is a new genre fir tried composing..it's a bit rock-ish with a bit of latin feeling..u can dance to it..while rocking to the song at the same time..a great combination and something very new..i really the chorus and how it carries out the tempo

track 6 - another new genre..it's not as great as track 5..but i like how it's something new..very interesting

track 8 - a very wonderful slow ballad..i like this song the best..everything (the melody, the musical arrangements) blend so well together..and also faye's voice is very heavenly and soft..she delivers the right feeling for this song

track 10 - another interesting song..very rock-ish..brings up the beat of the album..and it kept me intersting to listen

overall..this was one of the greatest album so far

i'm glad they've taken the time to really focus on the music and lyrics

great work f.i.r.!

Good Stuff! Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
I think F.I.R.'s new album is really good. My fav tracks are 3-5,7,9. 3 and 5 are really great songs with the "F.I.R." style we all love! I like the duet on #4 "tiantian yeye", and I also really like the total rock style of #9 I don't care. #7 "Ni hen ai Ta" is my favorite slow song on the album. This album is absolutely worth buying!

Great 3rd album from F.I.R! Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Again, F.I.R has not failed its fans! Flight Tribe, they're 3rd album in 3 years, is a step up from the nice but quite lacking "Unlimited" but still falters compared to their impressive debut album. Taken on its own, "Flight Tribe" is an album above the average Taiwanese albums out in the market today.

Personal favorites would have to be tracks 2, 3, 4, 5 and 9. Get High (track 2) is an upbeat song, a little similar to LOVE*3 of the "Unlimited" album but less cheesy and has some hip-hop beats infused in it. hip-hop and F.I.R were two things which I never thought would meet, but they did, and the end result was a good, fun song. "Sakura Rain" (track 3) is another song which sounds a bit fresh from normal F.I.R music, mainly because of the additional Japanese instruments in it. It's intro reminded me of Qian Nian Zhi Lian because of the traditional instruments used but eventually, Sakura Rain became a more upbeat song which is easy to the ears. "How Do I Live" is a ballad which has a new gimmick of combining the Leann Rimes song "How Do I Live" (track 4) with a completely different song. At first I thought it didn't work, but after a few more listens, The song quickly grew on me. The duet between lead singer Faye and the guitarist Ian was effective here as well, and the chorus is beautiful. the title track, Flight Tribe (track 5) is a song which didn't jive with my own taste, expecially the chorus. But like track 4, it grew on me and now I love the song's rock-pop flavor a lot. It completely fuses both tribal influences and modern pop-rock sounds. Finally, track 9 (Admiration) is a sad ballad from the others mainly because of its rock flavor (unlike the other ballads in the album). It has this kind of longing feel to it which makes it beautiful.
The other tracks are all good as well though they have some flaws. the best of the rest for me would be track 6, North Pole, a beautiful ballad though not as original and fresh perhaps as tracks 4 and 9. I Don't Care is a good rock song similar to Revolution complete with screaming English lyrics at the background, but the English here did not mix well with the song at all. 1234567 is a fresh and original track for F.I.R and is a good addition to the album to add some variety, but the genre is just not my taste. The other 2 ballads are nice but a bit too slow for me.

So overall, buy this album mainly for the tracks currently being used as promotional singles for the album (Get High, How Do I Live, Flight Tribe and Admiration), plus Sakura Rain (my pick for next song to have an MV) and perhaps North Pole. Not their best and not a perfect album but worth your listen!

Never disappointed Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
I've never been disappointed by FIR. I think this album is more colourful than the second album. I strongly recommend track 8, track 2, track 5, and track 4.
Track 5 is the most worth listening song in this album for me. I think it's the first time Real could make such a completely beautiful song.
I admire music arrangement in track 5 and track 2. It's genius!
I don't give this album 10 stars because of thw following reason :
When I listen to track 10, I feel that the music is not quite fit for that song. But I like the melody.
Track 7 is quite worth listening but I dislike the way Faye sing it.
The songs' lyrics in this album is not as goos as the previous albums. This album contains too much 'love' songs. you can compare it with the first and second album which have more different kind of lyrics.
After all I don't think that this album quality is worse than the first one. Many people have this opinion because the first album is absolutely impressive. When we listened to the first album, we got suprised and say 'there are such powerful, grande, high-musicality songs on the earth'. That's why when we listen to the second and third album, it doesn't make us surprise anymore but it doesn't mean the last two are worse than the first.
