The album is best~ may be it's commercial. But each album of candy mention in one topic~ this time is flower~ just one song can't match this album is the cartoon main song~ but anyway CANDY is my best choice in HK music~!!! |

Best album so far by Candy Lo

This is a magnificient album by Candy Lo! First of all, I would like to congratulate the songwriters, lyricists and of course Candy herself for producing such an excellent piece of work. Tracks 3, 8 and 13 are the highlights of the album, with lyrics that I sometimes mutter because they are so beautiful. Track 13 is composed and its lyrics are written by Lee Jun Yi, the lyricist of "Mud" by Andy Hui. His work never disappoints and the same can be said about this track. I think that Candy performs ballads very well and that she has improved a lot since her performance of "garbage" several years ago. The rock songs are, of course, tailor made for Candy and of good quality as well. However, I do have a couple of negative comments to make about this CD. First of all, the technical writer who is responsible for producing the lyrics sheet did a really poor job. The lyrics were incorrect at several places (especially track 13), words were misspelled, and there are strange characters buried within some of the lyrics. Also, it seems unneccessary to put "performed by Candy Lo" in the credits sections, since everyone knows that this is Candy's album, and this info seems rather redundant. I also agree with one of the previous reviewers that the CD copy control function is a pain. This CD does not play at all on my PC, and it is very annoying. I have other copy controlled CD's also (Chan Fai Young and Denise Ho) and neither have this problem. So yes, please make sure that your copy control function works before implementing this new technology. Other than the technical glitches, this is the best album by Candy Lo so far. |

This CD is okay. My favorite song is the 3 song by Mark Lui. This song is great! However, the rest of the songs seem boring. When I heard the 2 track composed by Candy, I was expecting this album to rock, and then I heard the 3rd song by Mark Lui and was falling in love with this CD...but after that, it was all downhill. The jazz composition did not fit at all, and was disappointed. I really wish Candy will stick to what she does best, rock, and leave the mainstream pop ballads to miriam, kelly, and sammi. I personally think she sounded horrible in the ballads. I really was expecting something crazy, but it was full of hopeless ballads. She has a very strong voice, which don't really sound right when she's singing songs that seem to come from miriam. Anyway, this album is stil worth buying because track 3 is awesome! |

this cd is copy control and wont play on my player

protecting cd's to be copied is a good thing, i always buy my original cd's. but it stinks when i cant play it on my superaudio speler. the latest cd of joey also has copy protecting but that one doesnt give problems. so if your protection doesnt work, dont use it. the real fans whick buys yr cd's are dissapointed while the pirates still can copy the cd. |

Awwsome . . . another great Candy album. I wish she'd put more rock into her music though. She seems to have forgotten the 'rock' side since "ho sum fun sau". I hope she doesn't change her direction just to suit the HK-pop industry. |

I thought Candy's Airline was very good, a lot of styles and Candy's ability to cope and excel in all the songs in that album. Now we have Flower Talk, which amazes me again! Very different from Candy's Airline... at first, I thought it sounded very pop as I started listening to the album, but it got so good as you start to get to the "other kinds" of songs! Candy is so amazing for her ability to sing so many types and genres of songs. It's a very interesting album. Very well done by Candy AND by the songwriters, lyricists, and everyone who worked on this album. I'm very Very Impressed. This is a MUST BUY. |

Candy never ceases to amaze

after a hectic year of releasing candy's airline, and staging her 1st flight concert, this new album is truly an amazing piece of work! excellent album! but i sense she's slowly moving towards mainstream music |

mandarine album

this album is about flower, really interesting, I think its time for candy to release a mandarine album, it would be nice that if she can put all the mandarine songs that she sing before and make it into one.Hope sony will make that soon! |
