This album is a matter of preference! I wasn't expecting much because of the reviews...yet when I heard the album, it became my favorite of Vincy's!!! The songs are incredible and Vincy's voice is beautiful even on upbeat songs which is unusual because singers don't usually sound exactly "beautiful" on dance-y songs. Unlike her 1'st album which was basically all ballads, this one has a decent amount of dance + upbeat + midtempo tracks!! It's interesting and the mood of the album is kind of eerie and fantasy-like. Vincy displays the different sides of herself in this as well as more unique & exotic vocal stylings. It reminds me of Faye Wong's "The Lost Tapes" album...very surreal and with beautiful echo effects & choral backing tracks. While the MVs are better on "Close To You", the songs are better on this one to me. Her cover of Mika Nakashima's "Yuki no Hana" is extremely gorgeous despite me perferring Mika's original version. I say they're tied on that track vocally, but Mika has more heartfelt emotion because...well, it's her song! =P Hehehe! I feel the only track out of place is track 7, but it's a fun mid-tempo track which rightly deserves its own credit. Track 9 was also good, but not like the rest of the album. Sooooooooooo...8 phenomenal tracks & 2 good tracks + a DVD containing 4 wonderful MVs! It's worth it, don't U think!? Hehehe! I also love the jacket artwork; it's very mysterious and sincere. "Close To You" would be the better choice if you're looking for a more down-to-Earth & natural, fun-filled Vincy..."Vincy" would be best if you're a major ballad freak =P ...but "Flowers Without Snow" is for a more surreal artist-y type who likes an exotic, flavorful style! (hey, that's MEEE!) mwahahagwahaha! gegegenyehehehe!! .. O.o I love all her albums, but this one is the one for meee most of all! Vincy is a gorgeous girl with talent that could make her go all the way to no.1! Blessings to her. n_n I hope her name is known all around Asia one day and possibly elsewhere too! <3 |

Vincy has shown major improvement since her first disc, "Feelings"! Flowers Without Snow is an great album that show cases Vincy's ability to create beautiful octaves. Although, this album may not be the best of her works because "Feelings" was such a success , it's still an enjoyment to listen too. Vincy's voice is awesome for slow ballad, and this album reveals that she's capable of it. Her fast songs on this album might not be the best to showcase her voice. But I would recommend this album to people who love ballads and beautiful octaves. Recommended tracks: 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10 |

| This album of vincy's was not as good as her first, not b/c of her vocals but b/c of the songs. They did not really help to show off vincy's singing skills. But it's not too bad, there were to tracks i really enjoyed, Tracks 1 and 5. 8/10 |
