Boys Over Flowers star Kim Bum shows his tough side in the curious coming-of-age feature Fly High (a.k.a. Flight). Taking his first leading role in a movie, Kim Bum plays against type as a young bar host alongside another 2009 breakout TV star, Bae Soo Bin from Brilliant Legacy and Temptation of an Angel. Written and directed by Park Jeong Hoon, Fly High features other rising actors like Kim Jin Woo, Lee Chae Young, Yeon Je Wook, and leading lady Kim Byul (Baby & Me), who plays Kim Bum's emotionally traumatized romantic interest.
Gas station attendant Si Bum (Kim Bum) dreams of becoming an actor, but he finds himself playing an unexpected role after he meets Ho Su (Bae Soo Bin), a legendary name in the host bar scene. Under the tutelage of Ho Su, Si Bum transforms from boy next door to hotshot player, all the while telling himself that he's different from the rest. But the good life has a way of turning bad...
