January 9, 2008 Please listen to this album! He writes his music and his lyrics. He sings his songs. He does his own mixing. Honestly, he has to be one of the most talented artists in all of music today.
From the moment I heard "Love Song" (Track 1), I had no doubts that the third album would be a great album, and as I continued to listen to the rest of the album, I was absolutely sold on it.
It's rare to find someone that is so young and talented, and I only wish for everyone to listen to his music. Please listen to this album!

Soul Boy - Khalil Fong
January 17, 2007 Outstanding debut album. The first time I heard about Khalil Fong was when he got the silver prize for Best Newcomer at the 2005 Hong Kong Music Awards (gold went to Justin Lo), but up until now, I hadn't really heard much of his music.
After listening to Soulboy, I really wonder why that is.
This is easily one of the best Asian R&B albums in recent memory, and the fact that this is his first album makes it that much more impressive. His influences are clearly rooted in western R&B, taking cues from artists such as Stevie Wonder, John Legend, Craig David, D'Angelo, and even Raphael Saadiq of Tony! Toni! Tone! fame.
Though the entire album is a great listen, some tracks that should definitely not be missed include Track 4 (Everyday Everyday), Track 6 (What Should I Call You), and Track 8 (Southern Sound).
Any fan of Asian music or R&B should not miss this album.

January 17, 2007 Simply a great album.
Bought this after being really impressed by his first album, Soulboy, and was not dissapointed. Those looking for a really good Chinese R&B album really do not need to look any further, because this is it.
All of the tracks are good, though the title track and track 5 (Four Player Game, featuring Fiona Sit) really stand out.
I would recommend this album to anyone, regardless of whether or not they've ever listened to a Chinese album in their life.
