Eien is one of the best ZARD album, if not the best. When was the last time you listened to an album and can truly said that every song in it is worth every penny?

ZARD is one of those rare bands that have been consistently combining quality with quantity over the past 10 yrs or so ever since their debut. Fans have never been disappointed and this album is a testament to that.

Every track in Eien can hold its own, which is no surprise since almost half of them were chart topping singles. However the overall feeling of the album was never compromised; each track served to compliment each other as you listened along and this is what makes this album so outstanding.

It is no exaggeration when thousands have claimed Miss Sakai's vocals to be their source of inspiration and warmth. As the name IZUMI SAKAI goes, her voice can be described as a fountain of spring water that is ever so refreshing. What is as highly regarded will be her ability to write equally impressive lyrics for all her songs. This album also consists of heavyweight composers like Tetsuro Oda, while track no. 10 “Shoujo no Koroni Modotta Mitaini?in my opinion is one of Aika Ohno’s best pieces of work for ZARD to date.

Albums of this caliber should never be missed out. The greatness of a song/album is that even 10 or 30 years down the road it will always be treasured. I say this album is EIEN.
