My absolute favorite ballad by Ayumi Hamasaki

There are no words to describe how gorgeous this song is. It sounds absolutely heavenly and the vocals are amazing, though I'm not a huge fan of buying "singles" (I'd rather wait for the albums to come out), I really recommend buying this. This single came out in 2003 and there isn't a version of the single+DVD. The music video is gorgeous and if you really want it, you have to buy her mini album called Memorial Address (CD+DVD version). I will be buying that version because the PV is gorgeous and I love her other songs on that album, but for those who just want the song, I recommend this. "Hanabi" is another gorgeous ballad as well (watch her perf of it during her Taipei 2009 tour, it's amazing). |

My favorite Ayumi song
| I love this song and owning this is even better. I'm glad I bought it but I am not a fan of singles I rather own the cd but it's good to have lol I play it repeatly again and again. I can't get enough of it. |

| So many memories with this single! It was my first ayu CD! And what a CD! The song is great! With all the orchestral music, great lyrics and ayu's amazing voivce this song is just magical! |

Excelent!
| I really thought that this song was gorgeous! Other reviews say that it's not her best ballad, but it's my favorite of hers so far. I think Ayu did a wonderful job with this song, and I love it. I strongly reccomend it to anyone and everyone. |

| I dunno what to say about this single other than absolutely nice and well arranged. The cover itself has already conveyed us that there will be great singles in the cd. A song like forgiveness will bring us into a dream world where we can really feel the beauty of nature described in the pv. The lyrics, orcestra, backsounds do really work in this song and then ayu's voice mix with them perfectly. It's a ballad song which i think a bit similar to voyage especially the backsounds but enriched with more effects. It is the kind of song which we have to listen to more that once to get used (enjoy) to it. But once we've got the feeling we will be definitely addicted to this song...and we know that it's really suitable for her voice and her status as The Empress of Pop. The ourselves remix is a bit odd which i don't really like it which is different compared to the HANABI ~part II~ remix. The HANABI ~part II~ remix is obviously great. Finally, 3 full songs < Forgiveness, Ourselves remix and HANABI ~part II~ remix plus a forgiveness instrumental version is really worth it.. Thanks Ayu.. |

good but disapointed

i was a little dissapointed with this one since it wasnt as good as her other ballads that came out recently(rainbow, graduation picture, and theme of A-nation). oh well, the song is OK but not really that great like it should be...same melodies repeating over and over and didnt really develpoed fully at the end of the song...couldnt feel the climax. However it was a ok and recommended to all the fans. |

I think "forgiveness" is a really good Song but not the best Ballad for me. I like "Who...","Voyage" and "RAINBOW" more. But I love ayu and I like each Song from my favorite singer! |

| I cannot believe how beautiful the song "forgiveness" is. I loved Ayumi Hamasaki's ballads up to this point, but this one just stunned me. It immediately became one of my favorites. The entire cd single is great. It was well worth the wait. |
