Being well-known as tough guys, Audi, Haitai, Lecaf and Gak-Grandeur are high school classmates who took a pledge of brotherhood. Lecaf, who is good at studying goes to Seoul right after high school graduation, while his “brothers” gradually build up their power in the gang and get a chance to go to Seoul finally. At Seoul, they are all having stable gangster lives and everything seems to be calm and peaceful. But one day they participate in a gangster’s meeting where all the gangsters attend, and get the news that one of the gangsters who conspires with Japanese Yakuza came to Seoul…

!!! Brilliant Gangster Movie !!! - two thumbs up

I don't personally like any gangster movies, but I gave this a try because my younger brother in Korea wanted me to see this. Let me say this, this movie is "brilliant"!!! First of all, it has all elements of movies. It has lots of funny scenes (even funnier than "My Wife is Gangster", "No. 5"), and Park Jun Kyu's act is the best (he is definitely for an award). He is the funniest actor that I have ever seen. This movie has seriousness of "Friend" and sensitivity and detailness of "Guns & Talks". It is definitely one of my best movies so far, and I am not regretting it at all. Hopefully, a version with the english subtitle is available soon. |
