Starring Lee Chang Hoon and Hur Jun Ho, four high school students become gangsters in the film Four Toes. Well-known as tough guys, Audi, Haitai, Lecaf, and Gak-Grandeur are high school classmates who took a pledge of brotherhood. Lecaf who is good at studying goes to Seoul right after high school graduation, while his brothers gradually build up their power in the gang before moving to Seoul. In the big city, they live a stable gangster life and everything seems to be calm and peaceful, until they receive news that a gangster conspiring with the Japanese yakuza has come to Seoul

!!! Brilliant Gangster Movie !!! - two thumbs up

I don't personally like any gangster movies, but I gave this a try because my younger brother in Korea wanted me to see this. Let me say this, this movie is "brilliant"!!! First of all, it has all elements of movies. It has lots of funny scenes (even funnier than "My Wife is Gangster", "No. 5"), and Park Jun Kyu's act is the best (he is definitely for an award). He is the funniest actor that I have ever seen. This movie has seriousness of "Friend" and sensitivity and detailness of "Guns & Talks". It is definitely one of my best movies so far, and I am not regretting it at all. Hopefully, a version with the english subtitle is available soon. |
