YesAsia Editorial Description

There's something about Ko Hyun Jung. One of the top actresses of the 90s, she is best remembered for her performance in the phenomenally popular Sandglass. Much to the dismay of fans, however, she left the industry after Sandglass. In 2005, ten years after Sandglass, Ko Hyun Jung returned to acting with SBS drama Spring Days, looking as beautiful as ever. This year, she continues to win over old and new fans alike, appearing in Hong Sang Soo's latest film Woman on the Beach and the hilarious romantic comedy Foxy Lady (a.k.a. What's Up, Fox?) which pulled in high TV ratings despite airing in a very competitive slot.

In the tradition of series like My Lovely Sam-Soon and Snow White, new drama Foxy Lady presents a lighthearted, yet touching "older sister/younger brother" relationship, only in a more realistic context. Ko Hyun Jung and Chun Jeong Myung (Goodbye Solo and Fashion 70s) show great on-screen chemistry, and the fabulous supporting cast, including newcomer Kim Eun Joo, drama regular Kwon Hae Hyo, and veteran Yoon Jeo Yung, bring both comedy and gravity to the story. Chaotic, colorful, and laugh-out-loud funny, Foxy Lady shows that love is possible at any age.

Single 33-year-old columnist Go Byung Hee (Ko Hyun Jung) works for a racy men's magazine. As her alter ego "Miss Go", she writes candidly about sexual liaisons; in real life, she is woefully inexperienced in matters of sex and love, and still awkwardly waiting for the perfect guy. Then one drunken night, she ends up sleeping with her best friend's little brother, 24-year-old Park Chul Soo (Chun Jeong Myung). The two agree to pretend the night never happened, but seem to keep growing closer over time. Soon Byung Hee meets a handsome doctor, and just as things seem to be falling into fairy tale place, Chul Soo declares his love to her.

Product Information

Men and women all have habits they can’t seem to give up until the day they die.
Men have swallows sitting in their hearts.
And women have fantasies about love.

So they continue to wander around confused in their search for love without having the faintest idea who their true soul mate is.
Such characters meet and quibble with one another in this drama series.
Each dreaming of their own fantasies, they say cynically, “Thanks, but no thanks!”
Creating mirages without substance, they become heartbroken chasing after something that is not real.
So they think happiness only belongs to others.

Most people probably have experienced at one time or another, searching for a pencil all over their house, only to discover they had been holding it in their hand all the while. This drama is about the process of realizing that the pencil is in your hands.
This drama wants to talk about the simple truth that both love and happiness are found right beside you, right in your heart. It wants to say that if you discard your superficial defenses, just a little, you too can become happy.

Unexpected Delightful Korean Drama Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
The plot is attractive and the most important is that the performance of both leading actress and actor are amazing. The intense love and courage of Chun Jung Myung (real name of the actor) towards his admired elder sister/lover, Ko Hyun Jung (real name of the actress) can touch the heart of the audiences. On the other hand, it also reflects the social trend - more husbands are now younger than wives in the society. In this review, I would like to send my compliment to Chun Jung Myung as he performs very well and I could feel his passionate love towards Ko Hyun Jung. I haven't finished the viewing but will watch it towards the end. Korean drama is no longer slow and sentimental: it could be fun and lively. My respect to the Korean producers as they are very serious and detail-oriented.

Love it. Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
This series is quite entertaining. .. maybe because i can relate to it. It does happen. The main actors do look good together. The male male actor id seen in various films and series, i believe portrayed his role pretty well. Different from his role in Fashion 70's and aggresives. Nicely done.

NOT FOXY ENOUGH Customer Review Rated Bad 5 - 5 out of 10
I wonder why she is stuck with bad pojects? after watching her movie woman on the beach, I have seen this . Shes a very good actress as previously seen in sandglass and spring day but her projects seems not befitting of her caliber. This series may start out to be entertaining but it fails to delight the viewers.

Lovely Nuna Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
CUTE...!!!! For you who have watched Love Needs Miracle, this one will deliver quite same impression with those drama. However, I think Foxy Lady has better storyline than Love Needs Miracle. Ko Hyun Jung acts as an editor for an adult magazine who still life with her mom and younger sister.
Chun Jeong Myung...girls, he is cute!, acts as Hyun Jung girlfriend's younger brother who gradually fall in love with her.
I haven't finished watch the film but the cuteness shown by Chul Soo when he is jealous and the storyline that is very down to earth (eventhough there are still some coincidences that could make the audience feel that South Korea is a very small country because it seems everyone knows and relates to each other) make me want to write a review for you so you will feel anxious to rent or buy this film.
