The Communist part in China came to power through cold-blooded murder and has maintained its grip on power through ruthless intimidation. No one in China has the right to decide the country's leadership except the one ruling party. If you want to stop government-forced abortions and put an end to human rights abuses you have to kowtow to the party. Even if you want to go on vacation anywhere outside China you have to kowtow to the party. And many people are denied that right just because they haven't kowtowed to the Communist party and have, in fact, condemned it for its violations against humanity. There's something wrong with a country from which people have to "defect" and can't simply leave. The excellent movie "To Live" is a much better movie for anyone who wants a glimpse of the reality of the brutality of Communism.
