I've seen so many korean series but so far, this is still the best for me, mainly because of sizzling chemistry between Rain and Hye Kyo.... I would really like to buy this version but I need to know if the special features come with English subtitle too...Can anyone confirm please???

This was my very first korean dramas that has started me noticing korean shows when it was aired last year in my country even though many other commendable shows like winter sonata and daejanggeum which was shown earlier...

This show was excellent and extremely strong and credible performance from rain and hye kyo.The supporting casts were excellent as well as without them,this show also won't be a success other than the 2 main casts.Hye Kyo has now remain as one of my favourite korean actress of all time.

When i purchased this DVD,it was worth it even though it was expensive and i would advised those who haven't purchase it yet to grab it while you can before it ran out of stocks.

the best korean series i've enjoyed so much Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
this is the only korean series i've seen on video for 13x. i have the vcd copy; the singaporean dvd; the director's cut dvd. but the best is the latter. you get to see many shots or angles taken not seen in the orig. cut. the NGs are superb, has longer shots of honeymoon and dating/videoke scenes in the end. i just love BiKyo tandem. they are def. asia's best looking couple. i'll never grow tired of FH and of BiKyo.

LOVE IT....LOVE IT....LOVE IT.... Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
What a great chemistry between Rain and Song Hye Gyo!!! I've watched it almost hundred of times, still never get enough of it.

I love this drama soooo much, I love everything about it, the cast, OST, etc. so much so that I've already bought the Malaysian version DVD, yet I also bought this KBS Director's Cut version just to check the difference. Compared to the Malaysian version, the Director's Cut has scenes and dialogue lines which were missing from the other version and we get to watch the NG as well as the making of the film. But I prefer the Malaysian version's subtitles, it is more accurate and even the OSTs are subtitled (the subtitling of Director Cut's version is rather poor with a lot of the sentences are incomplete and spelling errors).

grabeh, nakaka addict.....super nakaka-inlove, super ganda at nakakilig ang story nya.....haaay... ang gwapo ni rain, as in perfect much sila. wish that rain and song hye kyo would be a husband and wife in the future....

As an actor Lee Yeong-jae (Rain) scores record numbers at the box office in each of his movies, but he’s arrogant and closed off, which makes him rather inept at love. He aims to neither hurt nor be hurt, but he slowly learns how to love when a woman named Han Ji-eun (Song Hye-gyo), a cheerful realist, comes into his life. Yeong-jae and Ji-eun sign a marriage contract that stated if either one of them retreat from the contract before it ends, she/he will lose the house, full house. Song looks very cute in this drama while Rain shows a good acting.

i agreed this TV series is quite entertaining but do have flaws .... it's hilarious in ways but somewhat unrealistic of course & its from a comic book i've heard.
flaws: repetitive & it's always going back to the same beginning of the story when they already do like each other but always saying otherwise...............

In any case, there are reviews in asian fanatics.com about this series & a question came up in which i think is very funny & everybody seems to have different answers hahaha.......

the last scene in the tent - where they woke up & rain is really shy about coming out of the tent - i thought it's something like they finally consummate their fate marriage & its the morning after kind of shyness? hahahah cuz even thou they have their cloths on all asian series' are like that - they just show us how a couple woke up & they did the " woopie " w/o too much intimate scenes or taking off their clothes u know hhaha i thought that's what it is. they finally became hubby & wifey thats what i assumed he's being shy about it the morning after....
However, on asian fanatics some reviewers think & it's a perverted & fresh answer the guys think because rain is " stiff " due to sleeping next to the wifey??? hahahhhaa.. i mean i wouldnt never have thunk that.....

what do you guys think?
