FUNKY MONKEY
| Funky Town was a bit weak compared to other Singles but neccessary to Introduce her new Allbum PLAY. Tough personally I really love this Song, it makes so much fun and she is really pretty in the PV. b-side DARLING is one of her bets songs over, and, ssince not included on her Album, alone worth to buy this Single. Defenitly A MUST have for Namie Fans! 9 of 10 stars |

"Funky Town" is so much fun!!! Namie has come back with a fresh, original style and Japan is loving it. I am a bigger Namie fan since she finished her last live tour, "Live Style 2006"! It's because that last showing in her hometown, Okinawa, she changed. She got reconnected with her fans, music, and the inner Namie. She's got hype again and joy!!! This single makes me so happy when I listen to it; it's cool, sexy, and fun. However, the B-side is too repetive and can get annoying. It's great though if you ignore the irritating bits. |

Not So Funky
| I personally thought this single would be better after reading a small description of it. However, after seeing the PV, it wasn't something I had in mind. It wasn't as great as "Baby Don't Cry" but it's still nice. It has good beats that one can easily dance to and it is rather addicting but not that much. The cons includes that I thought this song was "funky" enough but it is still a good single nonetheless. It wouldn't hurt to try. :) |

funky queen
| after great smash hit single "baby dont cry" amuro decided to realise good dance single. After her brilliant rnb singles like "want me want me", or "put em up" "FUNKY TOWN" is not too good. was wating for better song....in my opinion bside song DARLING is much better then previous one...hope new album will be great! |
