A very pleasant album. Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
It is always a pleasure of listening to the newest album of Mai Kuraki. However, since her second album "Perfect Crime", her style have slightly changed. To my mind, "Fairy Tales" was too heterogeneous : some songs make the album unpleasant after several listenings. That was corrected with "If I Believe", the 4th album. Here is the 5th one, "Fuse of Love" which comes with a lots of sweet songs and really easy to listen. I recommend this album to everybody who knows or doesn't know Mai Kuraki, and likes songs with light melodies and love and joy feelings.

My three favourites tracks are #4, #5, #10.

Good Mai K. Stuff, not the best Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
This album has a lot of good songs integrating many different styles (though always with an easy listening kind of feel to it) and also a lot of tempo ranges. However, I didn't think this is the best of Mai K. (her 3rd album "Fairy Tale" and 4th album "If I Believe" were better in my opinion.) But this is a worthwhile buy & listen overall.

It's pretty good... Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Well, I voted an 8-out-of-10 for this release because I do think Mai has a wonderful singing voice. But I did NOT vote a solid 10 because honestly, I didn't like a lot of the songs. Too many sounded like easy listening music (think of being stuck in an elevator) rather than happy pop (which is more what she sang previously, I think). She also had WAY too much English for my personal taste on this release and I didn't enjoy that at all. However, to be fair: most of the complaints I have with this CD are due to my own musical preferences and NOT any fault of Mai. That is why, despite the fact I never play this CD, I still rated it rather highly. It isn't Mai's fault that her style isn't to my liking. She DOES have talent and a marvelous voice. Very smooth and calming. I bought other albums by her in the past and have wanted to love her for a long time. But, alas, after this purchase I don't think I will buy more by Mai Kuraki. Not that she is bad...just that she's not for me. So, if like her music then you will love this release as it is more of the same but with better songs. I think she's gotten much better and more secure in her ability, but I am not moved by it. That is my own opinion. I still recommend this CD though, because I think most people would like it for her talent and uniqueness alone.

I love it! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Recommended: 1, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12...that's a lot huh? Well it's because I love FUSE OF LOVE!! I own Mai-K's 'Wish You the Best' album, but I have to admit that this new album is a step up from her best album. FUSE OF LOVE features the classical Mai-K smooth pop style, which reminds me a lot of her older albums. It's very good! If you didn't like the singles featured in this album, then you're in luck, because in my opinion the new album songs are way better than the singles! This album will grow on you, as you listen closely to Mai-K's smooth, lovable voice.
