2004년 12월 m.net Km Music Video Festival 아시아 인기 록 아티스트 상을 수상하며 멋진 무대를 선보이고 한국에서의 활동을 개시한 Gackt. 이후로 한국어로 부른 '12월 어느 사랑 노래'와 'ANOTHER WORLD', 전곡 한국어 가창곡을 수록한 앨범 'LOVE LETTER ~for Korean Dears~를 발표하고 한국 팬들을 위한 악수회와 팬미팅을 개최하는 등 활발한 한국 활동을 펼치며 주목을 받아온 그가 2005년, Gackt의 새로운 세계를 펼쳐보인다!

Gackt의 8번째 오리지널 앨범은 가슴을 두드리는 록 튠으로 가득한 앨범.
2005년에 들어서 다이하츠 CM곡으로 쓰인「BLACK STONE」, 기동전사 Z 건담의 주제가로 쓰인「Metamorphoze」, 그리고 후지TV 드라마 '계약결혼'의 주제가「?カナイ愛ト知ッテイタノニ、抑エキレズニ愛シ?ケタ...(닿을 수 없는 사랑이란 걸 알고 있었지만, 억누르지 못하고 계속해서 사랑했다)」를 발표하며 새로운 세계관을 제시하기 시작한 Gackt가 보내는 장대한 엔터테인먼트 앨범 「DIABOLOS」가 드디어 완성되었다.
일찍이 「ANOTHER WORLD」(2001)로 막을 열고, 앨범 「MOON」(2002) 라이브 투어 「下弦の月」(2002), 영화 「MOON CHILD」(2003), 라이브 투어 「上弦の月」(2003), 서적 「MOON CHILD」(2003), 앨범 「Crescent」(2003) 등으로 펼쳐왔던, 단순한 미디어 믹스의 영역을 넘어 선 깊고도 끝없는 이야기가 여기에서 다시 시작되는 것이다. 「MOON」은 끝나지 않았던 것이다.

Great
| I love Gackt, and what I love most about him is his voice. His voice sounds very strained compared to his albums Rebirth, Moon, Mars and Crescent. It's something I have to get used to. He also dosen't seem to sing with as much emotion as before. Despite that, I really like some of the songs on the album. "Farewell", "Black Stone, "Ash", "Noesis", "Metamorphoze", "Road" and "Dispar". My favorite song is the last song that I can't spell, that is a true Gackt song in my oppinion: Emotional, great singing and lovely music. So the album isn't my absolute favorite, but it's still great. |

| This album is amazing. The man himself is amazing. Not much more to be said, except that imo his music gets better the more he puts out. Just listening to this album makes me even more anxious for the arrival of my DVD of his DIABOLOS tour! |

| I LOVED IT! whew.. this was my first Gackt album.. and im an instint fan from the first song, which is misty. even though its an instumental, i loved it. farewell is awesome! the end to Misty is like the intro to the next song. Noesis is so beutiful... my translation is pretty bad, but i believe its something like death.. i love it all! i listened to the whole cd when i got it... to good to skip tracks! The pictures in the lyric book are so awesome! i look at it over and over again... but, of course, the problem with the lyric book is, its to thick, it falls apart easily... 2 pages have already fallen out, with another coming out... so, that sucks...BUT! the music is so awesome!! i say buy it, and be happy. ^-^ |
