School bullying meets social network technology in the youth horror-thriller Gakko Ura Site (a.k.a. Tokyo Gore School). Based on the winning work of the second annual Mobile Horror Novel Awards, the film explores the expanding trend of school social networks, whose easy access (via mobile phones) and anonymity have made them a new platform for school bullying. Novelist/scriptwriter Yamamoto Kiyoshi and director Fukuda Yohei (Chanbara Beauty) plays on that fear, sending its characters on a survival of the strongest game filled with deadly secrets. Led by a talented young cast featuring D-Boys member Yamada Yusuke, Mizusawa Nako (Boss), and Shiraishi Shunya (Gokusen the Movie), Gakko Ura Site is an exciting thriller with a timely premise.

When a wave of suicides hits Ibuki Academy, student council president Fujiwara (Yamada Yusuke) decides to go investigate. During his investigation, he is suddenly attacked, captured, and forced to participate in a game of survival via mobile school network sites. In the game, the winner gets money and safety, while the loser will be told an unspeakably shocking secret that has driven others to death. Fujiwara immediately becomes a determined fighter, aiming to survive the game and discover the terrible secret to put an end to the madness.
