best of the best Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
i havent even gotten a chance to buy this cd yet but i know from listening to the songs that this is best. i havent really listened to Diru in the past, say, two years because the live i saw in 07 was the worst disappointment ever.
i recently started listening to their OLD stuff again and i MISS AND LOVE Diru when they were Visual Kei.
i say its worth the $31+shipping for any new fan! if you dont love this album then you dont know whats good for you =P

Must buy this! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I've been a fan of Dir en grey for 7 years now and I fell in love with them because of this album. This is back in the days when each of them write songs rather then working on them together. Very amazing album. I have the Taiwan copy already, but I'm getting the Imported one to make my collection complete. All import CDs! Woot!!

older is better Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
I think this was my second diru cd i baught. I definately love this cd with the songs like Cage, Yokan, Raison D'etre and Schwein no Isu. The composition of each song is unique and features a specific instrument. It's usually guitar solos but in cage the bass is the main melody for a change.
It's a must have for any diru fan and even for a beginner fan is an awesome way to start listening to them.

Best Diru CD Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I'm not as into Diru as much as i used to be, mostly because of their new single, which wasn't good at all...

BUT! Their earlier stuff is really good. This CD is no exception. Honestly, it's probably one of my favorite of their CDs (i also suggest VULGAR and Withering to Death, though VULGAR is better imo). It has some really cool songs that you can just listen to over and over again..especially "Cage"!

BEST THING IN MY STEREO Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Alrighty... I'm a new Diru fan... the first CD of Diru that I came to love was WITHERING TO DEATH.

Now don't say that because I'm a "WITHERING TO DEATH generation Diru Fan" that I'm an American hottopic poser!

After finding YESASIA.com I knew right away that I HAD to get GAUZE because there were so many good reveiws...many of which saying it was Diru's finest and greatest release of their whole career.

^_^ All I have to say is "Thanks" to all the people that gave it good reveiws.
I truely agree that GAUZE is one of the greatest cds I've ever had the pleasure of listening to.
Though, at first, I came to love WITHERING TO DEATH, I've come to love GAUZE waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy much more.

This cd is no disappoint. A MUST GET FOR ANY AND EVERY DIRU FAN!!!

Great CD!! Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
Gosh, probably one of my favorite dir en grey CDs next to 'Vulgar' and 'Withering to death'; this CD is amazing when I first heard it. I swear I could listen to "Cage" until my ears bleed. I loved the music video also. The songs are greatly arranged, and is well worth the money

Wrapped in -Gauze- Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
I feel that Gauze is a very beautiful album, and each is very well-written. Some of my favorites on here are Raison Detre, Yokan, Mitsu to Tsuba, and Mazohyst of Decadence.

However, I feel that the album lacked a specific direction or theme. The tracks were just sort of all over the place from pop-rockish tracks to ballads. Also, they presented a much more polished look and sound on this album than on any other one. That confuses me a bit...

Don't get me wrong, I still love the album! Everyone can relate to at least one song on here. It's great and appeals to the general masses.
