Although she is a beautiful 1/2 Japanese 1/2 American singer signed by Avex, and certainly has her own unique voice, I doubt her singing skills. Her voice isn't quite on tune, and it sounds often forced through someone that hasn't been singing for a long time. In other words, her voice sounds weak. I would recommend this album if you want a casual voice and want to listen to casual J-pop. But compared to BoA, Namie Amuro, DOUBLE, A Lan, or even Melody., her voice is definitely not polished. The songs on this album are OK. Some are catchy, but most are like any other J-pop songs. Unless you are a fan, I wouldn't recommend getting her CDs. |
