Way surprised! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I actually bought this one after Sweet Bridge, but going backwards she was still good! I like "Shine" and #4. #4 has a growly-bass to it. These are pop but as always a band is there to perform each song, giving 'em more contemporary value than a song of synth. Very nice, very nice. I like these songs because none of 'em scramble. None of 'em are the ones that change pace a million times throughout and have no distinct chorus. No, these are very thoughtful.

Sowelu makes J-Pop Exciting Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
When I first heard Sowelu on Pop Japan TV I fell in love with her Rainbow song. I've heard a lot of J-pop in the past few years, and Sowelu really makes the genre worth listening to.
At first glance, the CD may seem like every other J-Pop CD, but when you really take the time to listen to it you will notice how beautiful and unique Sowelu's voice is.
Although the main theme through the CD is Love-Pop, she knows how to mix in techno elements to make her songs special. Her cover of "Can't take my eyes off of you" is the best I've heard so far. Her english is great compared to 90% of J-pop artists.
The overseas edition comes with lyrics in Japanse and Chinese, and the pictures in the booklet are gorgeous. I highly recommend getting this album.

well, heard of two songs by her especially that shine one i think, but her music remind me of american singer, mya. she really does remind me of her. anyway can't wait to get the cd

Sowelu is one of my favorite singers Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This cd is excellent. Glisten is also worth buying. For people in America the music request show Revolution on the I channel has been playing the Glisten video. You can request them to play it by sending an email to musicrequest@zoomad.com
Also the labelgate protected cds play fine on regular cd players.

I saw some of Sowelu's music videos and interviews, and I think she's a very talented singer. Her style is like Hikaru Utada's, cause she sings a lot of english mix with japanese in her songs, and she's very fluent in english too. She has a beautiful voice and her songs are catchy. So you should check it out.

This album is amazing. Sowelu has a brillant voice and its just so wonderful, all of the songs in fact are great to listen to. I just absolutly love this album its fantastic! Listen to it! Its great! ;-)

Sowelu hits the japanese charts for many weeks with this first album and it well deserves it!! An elegant production mixed with with the sweet voice of sowelu and you have one of the best jpop album of the year!
