SOWELU: Get Ready - Nite 2 Remember

As a fan of classic 1970s disco, this cover to the Shalamar hit "Get Ready Tonight" is a great version from Japan. With new lyrics and an awesome delivery by Sowelu, she nails this very danceable and disco-homage track to perfection. Sowelu's voice is crisp and clear, with tinges of R&B in her tone, which makes this song one of the best covers ever. Big-O's rap solo is unique, as is all Japanese hip-hop, but its Sowelu that makes this song shine. |
