Ring and Juon: The Grudge producer Taka Ichise delivers a different type of ghost story with Ghost: Mou Ichido Dakishimetai, the official Japanese-Korean remake of the Hollywood supernatural romance Ghost. The first Japanese production by Hollywood studio Paramount (in co-production with Japanese and Korean companies), the remake transports the original setting from New York to Tokyo and changes the gender of the two characters. In the role of the wronged spirit (originally played by Patrick Swayze) is Matsushima Nanako (Ring), while the widow played by Demi Moore becomes a widower played by popular Korean actor Song Seung Heon. Writers Sato Shimako (K-20) and Nakazono Miho (Tokyo Tower (2005)) put an unique Asian spin on the original film, creating a touching supernatural romance that successfully stands on its own.

Company president Nanami (Matsushima Nanako) meets handsome Korean potter Jyuno (Song Seung Heon) after a wild birthday party. The two eventually fall in love and get married, but their happiness is soon destroyed when Nanami is killed. Nanami returns to the human world in the form of a spirit that only fake medium Satsuki (Kiki Kirin) can talk to. Soon, she discovers that Jyuno is in danger from the people who murdered her, forcing Satsuki to help Nanami protect the love of her life from the afterlife.

I have to take back my earlier statement. However the Korean sites still says it has ENG sub. When I went to Korea I passed a dvd store and checked it. on the back it says Korean and Japanese. I have no idea why all the Korean site still state that it comes with eng sub.
Anyway... I managed to get the SINGAPORIAN version in Singapore (of course ^^) and it has ENG sub.. so you who wants it maybe you can ask YA to get it... ;)

The movie is very touching and if you can get it.. you won't regret it!!

 Korean version has NO English Subtitles Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
I was so excited to get the Korean version of this movie since it originally said English subtitled. However, when it arrived, no English subs, only Korean and Japanese. I wrote Yesasia about it and they confirmed that the Korean version really did not have English subs. Too bad since I don't understand Korean nor Japanese. They were kind enough to say I can return the DVD and I will be refunded (Yesasia credits). I decided to return it and just wait for a version with English subs. I hope it will be soon!

KOREAN VERSION has ENGLISH SUB!! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I have been looking forward to this movie alot..ever since they announced it to be honest! Lately I like Song Seung Hun alot!! as well as I LOVE Matsushima Nanako!!
It's a great movie.

And I don't know why yesasia says it has Korean and Japanese sub...
looking at the dvd and Korean sites it has Korean and English sub, No Japanese...!!
So for you who really wants it..it comes with Eng sub!!! :)
At least far as I know it's only 1 Korean version!

Does it come with English subtitle? Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I want to get this DVD but not sure if it comes with English sub? Could anyone please kindly let me know? I've seen the movie while I was flying on Korean Air. It's a beautiful story and very touching. I really recommend this one if you're a fan of either Matsushima Nanako or Song Seung Heon. I initially chose to watch it because of SSH :), and I really love it.
