A packed cast of Hong Kong actors highlights Ghost Fever, an episodic horror comedy that mixes slapstick laughs with numerous horror elements. Ling (famed director Wong Jing) and his wife (the lovely Pat Ha) move into a new home, but their new domicile comes with bad feng shui. A few years back, some baddies slaughtered an entire family in their house, which can only mean some bad mojo. Soon Ling meets the beautiful Becky (Rosamund Kwan), and a one-night stand occurs between the two. Sure enough, Becky is a ghost, and Ling's callous male behavior earns him some retribution from Becky's ghost family! It turns out that her family is the one that was murdered in Ling's new house, and Ling and his wife had better watch out! Co-starring Max Mok, Eddy Ko, Nat Chan, and Charles Cho, Ghost Fever entertains with movie parodies, generous slapstick, wacky comic performances, and even some surprising scary moments.
