Ghost in the Shell: The Laughing Man re-edits the Laughing Man storyline from the series into a feature-length release. Without the side cases and distracting red herrings, the Laughing Man investigation becomes the main story, putting the details and subtle clues into clearer focus. Some of the footage in the series was especially re-animated for this release.
