A lesbian film with a supernatural mystery twist - that's what this 2009 Germany-Taiwan co-production is about. Written and directed by German indie filmmaker Monika Treut (Virgin Machine), Ghosted tells a tight, suspenseful tale of homosexual love between a German lady and her Taiwanese lovers. Shot on location in Hamburg and Taipei, the controversial film stars German actress Inga Busch, and Taiwan actresses Christine Ke (Summer's Tail) and Judy Hu (Ballistic). Charismatic veteran actor Jack Kao and Lu Yi Ching make appearances in supporting parts.

Taiwanese girl Ai Ling (Christine Ke) is murdered in Hamburg, Germany under mysterious circumstances, leaving her artist lover Sophie (Inga Busch) at a loss. She comes to Taipei for an exhibition of her works dedicated to Ai Ling. A journalist named Mei Li (Judy Hu) seduces the mournful artist, who rejects her as she has yet to get over her dead lover. Sophie returns to Hamburg at once, Mei Li follows her, and the two finally get it on. But soon Sophie finds out that Mei Li is secretly investigating Ai Ling's death, and things are simply not what they seem...
