Track listing names error Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
So I just got this album from the mail today. Took around 15 days to get here.
The moment I popped it into my PC to play, the CD is listed as the 'Gee CD' instead of the 'Genie CD'. And the track listings from 1 to 5 are in accordance with the actual track names of the Gee CD except for track 6 which is just named as Track 6 (should have been One Year Later like on the Genie CD). But don't worry, the songs are actually the correct songs from the Genie CD, just that they're named wrongly. You can always change the names of the songs to the correct ones.

The photo booklet inside is probably their best I have seen (on a mini album), on par with their Oh! album.

Now, onto the songs. This mini album is probably my favourite together with Hoot. Staying true to the SM style, this album doesn't quite follow a consistent theme either.

1. Genie is a legendary song, enough said :P
2. Etude is overflowing with energy, one of their trademark bubbly songs that'll always make you smile :D
3. After I listened to it a few more times, I actually think Girlfriend is the hardest song they sang on this album. With Sunny and Jessica belting out their high notes coupled with a healthy dose of falsetto on the chorus, this song deserves recognition. I guess it just isn't my kind of song.
4. Boyfriend is oddly addictive x.x
5. My child mimics the theme of Etude.
6. One Year Later is the next best duet SNSD ever did after Caramel Coffee.

Fortunately, there are no wrinkling on the edges of this album unlike most of my other albums ordered from here. The only reason it gets 8 stars instead of 10 is because of the wrong track names. Other than that, this is a legendary mini album, in my opinion.

Etude Customer Review Rated Bad 6 - 6 out of 10
In my opinion, Genie is one of the most recommended when it comes to Girls' Generation's released albums.

'소원을 말해봐 (Genie)' is already the huge hit everyone knows it is, so I won't say much about this song, but only it totally deserved the fame! The song was so catchy and the concept was just too sexy!

Etude was my ultimate favourite track from this mini album! The melody was so cute and brightful and sweet. I love the lyrics, they're so adorable and meaningful, and pardon me to say it's good to see Girls' Generation actually sing something for girls. I'm not against Girls' Generation by any means, but sometimes it's just tiring to hear them singing about boys and oppas and men all the times... Anyway, Etude makes me smile everytime I listen to it and it makes me feel confident :). The concept of Etude is also very cute :).

'여자친구 (Girlfriend)' and '남자친구 (Boyfriend)' are catchy songs with electropop feeling and upbeat melody. They're quite easy-to-listen-to songs, but not really outstanding, in my opinion.

'동화 (My Child)' was also a very nice song. I love the light opera feeling. The melody was strong and firm yet sweet and soft. Love it a lot!

I never finished listening fully to '1년 後 (One Year Later)'... Didn't like that song a lot.

About the packaging, I just wanna say it's really nice and the main reason why I purchased this CD is because of the front cover with Yoona in the middle :x. The CD front looked inviting with a lot of hearts on it... Just like each page of the booklet. The girls looked very pretty in marine outfits and shorts that showed off their long legs. I love how each girl has her own little different in her outfits (like hats, colors, etc...) and makeups so that she stood out from the rest. If anything, I'd say the only imperfection is that the girls are too skinny. I'd love to see them have a little more meat and look healthier... Still, they're all very beautiful already :).

Bought it too late so didn't receive the poster :(.

Still, I just wanna say Genie is a total recommended for S♡NEs!

Although the songs are awesome. I didn't like the packaging of the album. When you felt and look through the album, you notice it is not that stable. Also, the pictures weren't the best ever.

GET IT Y'ALL Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
The pictures are to die for! Well for the guys they will drool and the females will be jealous of all the girls pure beauty. I'm jealous and I'm not even Asian, but that don't matter because I still love and will always support our girls. I love all the songs on here especially Genie, man you get a loud 200watt stereo system and tear the roof off with the solid beat behind it. Very addictive!

Sowonul Makhaebwa!!! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
The girls have dont it again but this time with a new mature sexy image!

After the craze with Gee people were starting to wonder what will they do next?? another cutesy catchy song?? A DEFIANT NO!

the girls are now rockin the confident military girl look with the GREAT pop song Genie (tell me your wish) which is a VERY addictive song but a total change from gee no more cutesy love songs for them.

The follow up track ETUDE is also a great soft pop song that will satisfy you right after genie.

overall this album is GREAT just like the last one it comes with even more gorgeous military themed pictures!

if you liked gee you will LOVE this

Great! Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
This is one great mini album!

I remembered the moment i heard genie last year, i was blown away.
The beat is unique, the dancing is cool.

The other songs are great too! My recommendations are my child and one year later. They are soothing songs and inclusion of 'children' voices in my child is pretty fun too!

Nevertheless one thing i dont like, just like any other KPOP albums, is the poor CD casing. the poor quality of the carton is not strong enough to withstand pressure or water.

But still, give this album a listen!

Love the mini album :) Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Even though i bought the album at a music store, i'll write my review here.
Well i bought the item for $15 :o I think thats too much for a MINI ALBUM. I think it should have been like $10? ;] Well the songs are very nice. ;D Tell Me Your Wish is a very ADDICTING SONG! xD I also like the pictures of them :] Its so pretty! ^___^I think that it should have been like in a cd case because its kind of protected in a "sheet of paper" so it could get ripped very easily. :[ Its a must have item! :D
