Really love SNSD!!
Really love SNSD!!

Ever since I heard "GEE" (but I still don't have their Gee album, haha) I became addicted to SNSD. I really love their voice! and they are such talented, beautiful girls! I searched for their other songs and I'm glad I did it. I found their songs really great! I decided to bought this repackaged album "Baby,Baby" because the songs are great!! I listened to the songs online and it was so good, from the first track up to the last track. It was so so really great! I'm sure I will never regret in buying this. Now, I'm so excited in getting my cd. It was just shipped this afternoon. SNSD fighting! |

I gave a review for their 1st album and i might as well give them the same for this one since its basically the same thing only with more. I loved the cover, very simple but pretty. if anyone is complaining that its too cutesy, well, its their concept and if you think that, then they are doing their job well. They arent the best singers of all time but many can sing well and the ones that arent as good are better then ones you just pick off from the street. you can tell they all trained hard. |

Now, I know a lot of you Wonder Girls fans might disagree with me or even dislike me because of the title of this review, but I really don't even consider the two groups in the same genre. 소녀시대 (Girls' Generation) is far more of a cute//feel good girl pop, similar to Papaya and TT Ma, while the Wonder Girls are more a 'cool' hip-hop style oriented girl group. That being said, I absolutely love this album, I love every song on it but one, but even that one I still like. There are a few songs on there that just can't help but make you feel, well, happy. This album is one of few that I can listen to as a whole on loop without getting tired of it. To those of you complaining that the music is "too cutesy": well, that's the genre, sorry. So why the repackaged Baby Baby instead of the self titled album? It's not only that the Kissing you remix really good, as are the two long album mixes (Let's go 소녀시대). The case is redesigned, it's now a different style, with a different cover (as is obvious), and it includes a mini-photobook. Highly recommended. |

First off, before buying this cd, you must be aware this is a bubble-gum pop. Once you've cleared that in your head there are no further problems. I personally, like this cd very much. All the songs are very cute and catchy. They make me all bouncy and happy with their happy tunes and lovely voices. Despite many criticizing girls about their lack of vocals, I find them all to have very enjoyable voices. My favorite tracks on this cd are: 소녀시대, Ooh la la, Into the new world, Baby Baby, Honey and 7989- leader umma's fantastic duet with Kangta. Other songs are really nice too. When you're in bad mood, those songs are perfect to cheer you up. About the packaging- it's nothing special really. Photobook with few pictures I'm sure you've all seen on the internet that are nothing special and lyrics of the songs which won't mean you much unless you know korean. But all in all, I'm glad I got this cd. |

Not terribly interesting or impressive. The songs 'Girls Generation' and 'Into the New World' are my favourites from the album. The rest of the material is too cutesy, and very redundant. The cd is still good for a lite listen, although I don't think it's something i will be coming back to very often. |

Catchy, slightly addictive
Catchy, slightly addictive
| Bubblegum pop music was a thing of my grade 6 past, but for some reason SNSD was an exception(okay and maybe Super junior). This CD was just so catchy and addictive! I wasn't really a fan of SNSD until I listened to this cd. It got my bopping my head to all of that bubblegum popness. My favorite songs were baby baby, tears, complete and kissing you. (sorry I don't speak korean so I don't know the names in korean). I stil don't consider myself a fan, but its nice to listen to happy cheerful songs once in a while. I really wish they harmonized more though. Good music and so catchy! |

The album cover is very attractive. The music? Cute, catchy and mostly cheerful. But the idea of this album repackage is not that good, I'm not really happy with it since the repackage one, though, has a more attractive cover, it only has like 3 more new songs, which actually not new at all but 1 remix and 1 new songs made in 2 different versions. The music is good so if you don't have Girls generation's album yet, get this one instead of the old version. But if you already got the old version of this album, then don't get this because it'd be just a waste of money unless you're really really into Girls Generation and want to collect all their stuff. |

Great album ^^
Great album ^^
| Overall, this is an excellent debut album for the girls. All of the songs are quite catchy...my favourite song would probably have to be the title track 'Girls Generation' - it's just so boppy. They also have some nice ballads included as well. The last two tracks (track 13+14 "Let's go SNSD") is really just a medley, with (what seems to be a direct cut) of some of the more popular tracks being strung together. Overall I would highly recommend this album. The only thing I was slightly disappointed in was the album booklet. |
