Kara Turning Japanese, I really think so! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
By Kara’s present topsy-turvy ‘issues’, and I’m not going to even attempt to ascertain the complex media circus that’s being paraded (peddled) about to what is ‘fake’ or ‘real’, as all I simply hope is that Gyuri, Seung-yeon, Nicole, Ji-young and Hara become more settled and happier in their respective vocations and remain good friends. I hope everything becomes ‘fair and square’ with you guys. Be over cautious with the bewildering and confusing miasmic ‘news’ about “The Kara Contract Show”, as I think supping this ‘news’ is equivalent to the false grail cup in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, whereas positive words by Jae Ho Han (producer of Pretty Girl and Mister), singer Eue-ryn and Soo-yeon Song about Kara, are the wise choice cups. Kamilia’s though must feel disheartened concerning Kara’s contract fiasco, so I thought I’d give a cheery support to “Girl’s Talk”, the Japanese version of Kara’s output.

“Girl’s Talk” mainly features songs from Kara’s “Jumping” Korean mini album (+ Mister and Lupin) with Japanese vocal mix and three new songs (Baby I Need You, SOS and Sweet Days). It’s all bubblegum vogue electro pop and mainly I find “Lupin” and “Jumping” the most promising. But it’s the vision I want to mention here! By the Kara DVD video stuff (groan, version A actually) on the “Jumping” making of video and the promotional cover sleeve photo sessions to Kara’s Japanese 2010 singles/albums, you can see how the girls totally enjoy every solid minute of what they do! Laughing cutely, comparing footage takes, dress rehearsals, bantering with each other and enthusiasticly upbeat! You can certainly tell Kara members love making music, dance and fashion. Fact! That innocent natural and pleasurable energy Kara imbue, are the main reason they’ve become immensely popular. But where there’s one side of the coin, there’s the opposite. Musically, it would be interesting to hear more rock n roll pop from Kara, in a compatible sense of course. Lately I’ve (re)-discovered 80s synth pop album “Music For Parties” by Silicon Teens with upbeat Human League type electronic versions of classic rock n roll songs like “Just Like Eddie”, “Sweet Little Sixteen”, “Judy in Disguise” and a timeless life enhancing songs. For Kamilia’s and Kara alike I’m sure this album could inspire and lift the spirit ^^ As for Kara, stay together like shoal fish! Fans - if you can’t get the DVD version A, the best ‘vision’ of Kara is the 3 DVD "Sweet Muse Gallery" set.
