January 15, 2011 The truth is...I thought I wouldn't like the songs on this album because I've always loved DBSK's ballads, most especially how their five voices blended so well together. The track Keep Your Head Down is ok, more so because I don't understand the lyrics and so I can just enjoy the beat without thinking of the implied message. Their vocals are also ok. Of course I know it will seem different because it's just them two, but it's kind of weird not hearing the different ad libs and ranges that TVXQ always boasted. I think Changmin and Yunho's vocals are at best when they're singing upbeat songs because there you get a mix up of the vocals, the instrumentals and all that techno-stuff. When it's just ballads, you concentrate more on vocals and second voices and blending, which I will honestly say, they do not strongly bring out. Yunho's words seem slurred sometimes when he sings, I don't know if it's just me.
I'm not bashing or anything and I'm most definitely in full support for JYJ and HoMin, but I say how I feel.
I'm not thrilled about the album, just like I was not that thrilled at first with The Beginning, but I like most of the songs here. The melody is very simple yet catchy. However, the packaging is, to put it quite simply...useless. What would I do with a huge photo album? Sure I'll have a collection of HoMin's photos, but I'm a person who likes to post stuff on the wall, to see and be reminded of what I love every now and then. I can't very well tear the pages up, that would be a complete waste of money, but then I have nothing to display. The poster is okay, but my walls are very much JYJ biased, what with all those cardboard photos that The Beginning had. There's just not enough HoMin stuff!
As for their pictures, there is definitely a difference. I like how they seem darker than usual, especially the front cover. Yunho and Changmin looks awesome because they do, but I'm so not a fan of their makeup.
So yeah, there's nothing left to review because as I said, there's nothing with the album except for the photobook and the cd itself.
I will support TVXQ whether it's just five or two, but make it worth the money I worked hard for. Supporting them doesn't necessarily mean that I have to gush and squeal when I see their stuff even if the stuff is not that great. I'm loyal but I'm not a liar.

It's very cool looking, user friendly, coz it has adjustable holes in them giving you a chance to choose the fit you want. Awesome bracelet....i love how you can adjust it to intertwine them and make an obvious X, or just downplay it and let them fall and show a subtle criss-cross. It definitely makes a statement whether you're wearing baggy jeans, or skinny jeans!

Till now, the quality's still good, although it the carving in between the cross has some dirt in it, but when you look at it from afar, it just adds a shadowy effect, which is cool coz I don't want to put it under water just in case it would destroy it.
ANyway, this necklace actually has a matching pair of earrings, which is pretty cool coz then i can wear 'em as a set, if i actually bought jaejoong's skeleton ring. The earrings are the ones with the skeletons with the crosses hanging from their jaws.
The chain is a design in itself and very much compliments the pendant, coz if you put the pendant on an ordinary chain, it just downplays the whole thing. And like any other DBSK jewelry, this one goes with every kind of attire.

BUt I have enough of those to last me a lifetime and so when I saw this one, I took a chance and oh boy, am I glad I did!
It's so coool, despite it's name,being fiery and all that. If you're into those legendary kind of themes, or something quite tribal and ancient, this necklace screams it! My boss, who's a guy, thought it was from Naruto, and I thought, when I received it, it looked like something from Avatar. Don't know if you think that's cool, but I do...he wanted to get it from me, but hell no! This one's a keeper. In fact, I'm wearing it right now!
The appearance is very chic. It has a dark bronze color, and it subtly reflects the light. It's not so dark that you have to squint to look at the design of the pendant and the chain length is the right size.

July 30, 2010 love love love it!One of the things i love about this bracelet is the fact that I've actually seen Jaejoong wear it. It's his bracelet in Tohoshinki's Tokyo Dome Concert.
When I first saw it, I thought it was kind of like a bangle. But it's actually similar to a chain. The parts are kind of hinged together, not intertwined, but they're very sturdy, so don't worry about them breaking off suddenly.
It's very elegant and every flattering. My sister, who is not even a fan of DBSK, oohed over it and has been constantly asking me whether she could borrow it. It's very easy to put on. It doesn't have a lock, but you can insert the end into the hole of the other end and twist it so it doesn't fall off.
One thing though...when I bought it, i had no idea there was a size, so it was kind of small. It went around my wrist, but I couldn't close it without the risk of breaking the chain. Fortunately, I owned a necklace that had big chains on it that actually fit the bracelet perfectly, so i just attached that one to the lock-end of the bracelet and voila! I could close it.
Despite the minor glitch, I still love it!

July 30, 2010 Oh wowI didn't expect to like this, but because it's like Jaejoong's, I went ahead and bought it. At first I didn't know whether it would go well at all with my clothes, and I thought I'd have to wear plunging necklines just to make the look work, but it turns out, I didn't have to.
WHat surprised me more is the fact that this necklace did wonders with a plain get up. It really does catch the eye coz it's big enough to compliment what you're wearing, but not big enough to be gawked at. The chain is quite long and the rings fall somewhere in between my chest area. The rings are held together by a clamp that has fake diamond studs aligned neatly on it. The chain itself is not as flashy as shown in the picture and it's very dbsk...
I love it and I'd recommend it without a second thought to all the members' fans, not just Jaejoong's... =)

July 30, 2010 Worth the riskMy dad does not like anything with skeletons on it, and so I grew up turning away from designs that have skeletons in them. I've seen this pair of earrings a long time ago, but I overlooked the design of their cross. It turns out, they're a perfect match to the necklace i bought ages ago from yesasia...
Good thing I decided to check it out and buy it before i judged because I LOVE them! And the skeletons? Pssh! They're not even noticeable until someone sticks their face near your ear and look at 'em closely. They're perfect whether your hair is up or down, and it flashes, but not too much to make you look gaudy.
I recommend buying them..they're so nice.

July 30, 2010 almostIt's really cute and small, but not so small that it cannot be seen. it's like half an inch wide and short....goes well with casual and formal wear...
Down side is, It's hard to close. The crosses are at risk of going through the band and falling. The hook is not hinged-style, so you have to bend the metal as in distort it so you could put the thing on, and it's very hard to connect the metal wire into the hole because you can't really see it unless you ask someone to do it, and even then it's in danger of breaking if you constantly put it on and off. It would have been great if the thing had been easy to lock. But still, if you're not the type who moves and tosses your head so much, it would be okay. But at the price it's being sold...better check another one out first. It's still money...

August 19, 2009 As expectedAs the title itself says, the 1st Live Tour of Tohoshinki in Japan was recommendable, as expected from the five-member band who was just starting to build up its name the time this concert took place.
The concert was small, surprisingly. I was expecting quite a crowd, but was totally shocked when I saw how condensed everybody was in this fine space. The person at the farthest end of the room would have still been able to make out the boys' costumes.
The concert itself was short, very direct. There weren't a lot of talks and the songs were done perfectly. Too perfect that the atmosphere was quite tensed. But that is to be expected.
Costumes were, as far as I can recall, very funky, i guess. They were a lot similar, with each costume change, but they suited the theme of each song.
The boys looked great, Jaejoong, especially, but I'm his fan, so maybe I'm biased. Anyway, the dance, especially the one in Try My Love, was definitely worth seeing.
A plus point for the concert being small was that the camera had no other shots but those up close, and so we get to see more of the boys' reactions and their dance moves. Every move is captured, how very fortunate for you if it captures the moves of the your favorite DBSK member.
All in all, it wasn't a bad concert. It certainly made an impression on those who came. But it wasn' the best. For the first concert, though, I give two thumbs up for them. It's not easy to have done such a feat!

It has great packaging. very nicely done. The booklet with their pics and lyrics were again worked hard on. Their songs, well, not my favorite, but they do have Stand Up!, Box in the Ship, Survivor. Ui Aa! We Are, and Wasurenaide, which was written (and so my cousin tells me) by Jaejoong.
What i love about this package is their DVD. It had several music videos, including my favorite, Mirotic. And the T Concert. And also,a photoshoot for the Secret Code. Again, I couldn't understand what they were saying, but you could still appreciate their goofiness. Actions speak louder than words, as they say.
High Quality videos, good sound quality. And free poster? What more could you ask for?
These boys never really ceases to amaze me. THey deserve whatever praise and recognition they're getting. I recommend this item to anyone who wants to collect their stuffs.

June 15, 2009 The Song that Won Me OverThe packaging for this version was kind of weird for me? It came with a box, probably two inches in depth? And the first one and half inch of it was just plastic, a transparent box with the DBSK mirotic album cover reflected at the back. I can't be too sure if you could understand this. But it was just like a transparent box, with the picture of DBSK on the back of it. Okay, i think i just repeated what i said.
Anyway, the CD was awesome, not that I liked every track, but it still had Mirotic, and Hey! Don't Bring Me Down. The DVD comes with interviews, the interviewers and interviewees were just the five boys. They also had clips from the A-Nation event where they had to cook something, I don't know what. It was really hard to tell what was happening because the DVD was NOT subbed.
The packaging was pretty, even though it was quite a bit perplexing as to what it's purpose is. it came with a mini one-sheet-two-page picture card(?) which had some pictures of the boys, and at the back of it were their solos with their signatures. Not real, though, of course, but still a copy of their writing. I don't know if the other Mirotic Versions have that, so, yeah....
What else? The pictures in their mini booklet are totally awesome. Not a single one of them looked bad. You could see how the producers and artists really put a lot of work on the images.
I gave it a 10 even though i was quite disappointed with the packaging and the DVD because when I look at it, the other versions wouldn't have subs either, right? But if i were to give you advice on what to get, I'd say get the D one. It would have a cool collection of pics with DBSK goofing around. I know that because that's what my cousin bought.
But then again, if you're a fan, wouldn't matter which, each version is unique. It depends upon your craving... =)

June 15, 2009 Best Concert! Best Buy!This concert has got to be the best one they've had in DVD.
The lights were perfect. They blended well with each other at the right moments of the song. Their silhouettes were highlighted at the end of some performances and you could see their poses were made to shine, especially in rising sun. It gave a whole new meaning to the words FIve in the black. It was really inspiring!
The angles captured moves the way they were meant to be seen. If they were done otherwise, the effect would have still been there, but it wouldn't have been as captivating. I'm not talking about any particular performance because you could be assured these shots are in every song... They also edited the videos to have slow-mo portions, and they were done superbly. It didn't happen as often as you'd think, but when they did, oh...well, i'll leave the reaction to you, but suffice it to say, it was really thought out.
Let's go over to costumes...I have no other words to describe them, but they fit. Really fit! Their image, their songs. It wasn't flashy, but it was done with class. Their costumes were the same, but you could tell that they brought out different characters while wearing them.
All of them looked awesome. But I guess that would depend on your preference. but for me, they all looked good. A couple of the boys might have not sported the best haircut, but then again, that's for you to decide.
But they were all having fun. you could tell they how happy they were. You could hear it in their voices, see it in their faces. They enjoyed each performance, the atmosphere, and most especially the crowd. It was moving to see how they showed their appreciation by how they gave their best in every song.
I would give this 100/10 if i could. If you're a fan, the smartest thing you could do is not miss this DVD, if you're collecting their concerts. It is worth the money, to see this in high quality and watch it over and over again. I swear, I 've seen their performance of Choosey Lover about 10 times already, but I never get tired of doing so. Each time i watch, I have a feeling that i would see a particular moment that I've failed to see before.
