Fascinating Music
I never read [Nana], because I don't like the drawing style very much. But after watching the movie [Nana], with all the music by Mika Nakashima, I think I would like to try to find the comic books or animes to watch. Just as Komatsu Nana[Hochi] said: The voice of Nana are so touching, like the sound from the heart. By the way, I think another song in that movie [Endless story] is also very good.

A fresh sound that perfectly fits
This is Mika's latest offering, and is a mini album in a rock style, something she hasn't really done too much of before. After hearing this album, I feel her voice really is a natural for this type of music. It's just smoky enough to carry the deeper emotion of the lyrics and melodies of rock music (as opposed to pop), but her absolute control of her vocals and her smoothness makes it absolutely beautiful at the same time. This mini album only has 4 tracks on it (not including the instrumentals), but I believe it's totally worth grabbing this album, as all of the songs are excellent. When I was first listening to this album, I didn't really like the track My Medicine too much, but then as I continued to listen, this track became my favorite. The feel of the song is just awesome, but that's true of all the songs on this album. What really makes this one special is the melody which Mika follows, especially in the chorus of this song, where she carries the tune from some pretty high notes right back to the smoky soud that carries the rest of the song. I was a little put off by the fact that it's completely in English, and English isn't really Mika's strongest ability, but I eventually got over it, and ended up loving the song.

Glamarous Mika
Glamarous Mika
Well hardly, but this song is one to watch. I normally don't take much notice of her, I always noticed her for her great voice but her songs have never done it completley for me, until I ran into GLAMAROUS SKY. This song is great, and suprisingly fits Mika's soothing voice so amazingly well. With it being composed and arranged by HYDE it is not suprise :D. I hope Mika adapts more into this style of song, I will definatley be making more purchases if her next release is as good as this :)!

Best single ever
Best single ever
This single is great *_* Or at least the title track, "Glamorous Sky" is. Despite not venturing into rock, Mika's voice is very suited for the music. It's terrific that Mika can do other styles besides jazz and r&b. This song sounds like a Laruku song, which isn't a surprise since HYDE composed the song. This single will definetley beat BoA's new single by a 10000 miles! Go Mika! And everyone see NANA on September 3rd!
