GLAY is absolutely fantastic! Without a doubt, they are the masters of live concerts. I can't believe the excellence they perform with- it truly is breathtaking! First off, every single one of them is a snappy dresser and this particular night was no different. Hisashi wore a robe/dress with little shorts and huge boots, Teru was decked out in all pleather and chains, Takuro looked great in his "ONE LOVE" t-shirt and a simple pair of jeans but the best was Jiro with his spiked hair, diamonds under his darkly painted eyes, red silk pajamas and bright white Nike sneakers. All the members got a chance to sing (Takuro- "Kimiga mitsumeta umi", Jiro- "Highway No.5", Hisashi- "Acid Head") which was exciting to hear and see. They performed 20 songs flawlessly and still spent plenty of time goofing off and having fun on stage. And Tokyo Dome was the perfect place for their show. There was a huge conveyer belt that they all rode and ran up and down, elevated platforms that both Teru and Takuro nearly threw themselves off of several times... It was great. This stage was literally blown up and set on fire. From the serenity of their performance of "All Standard is You", to the utter goofiness of Teru marching around the stage with Takuro on his heels in "Denki Iruki Kimyou na Shikou", to the gothic beauty of Hisashi's guitar solo, to the tears in "Fighting Spirit", "Hitohira no Jiyuu" and "Way of Difference" (had me crying, too!), this was the BEST concert ever put on!! And I've hardly even scratched the surface. I could never say enough about this concert. It even comes with a 26 page live photo book. Whether you're a fan of GLAY or not (which I'm sure you will be after seeing this), this concert is definitely worth owning and seeing over and over again. Yoku dekimashita!!!
