Globe still doesn't dissapoint Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Love Goes On:
This is an up-beat song with great drumwork, pushing the feeling of the song. This is that song at a concert that everyone will be standing up, jumping with the. Also, from this song, you realize that Marc is back to being more lyrical with his. What I really like about this song is the way even the instruments seem like they’re expressing idea “love goes on.”

Expectation:
This song reminds me of the more experimental rock songs from Outernet. This song, however, is extremely more dynamic than any song on Outernet. It transitions between a slightly punk beat, a harder rock beat, and a more introspective and quiet pop/trance song, without any glitches. Overall, this song is very funky and fun.

Back 2 Be:
By this point in the album, you start realizing something about the concept that was achieved. More than being an album with songs similar to their old style and songs similar to their new style, every song in itself gives this dynamic. This song is a perfect example as it oscillates between background guitars and background synths.

Here I Am:
What starts off sounding like it will be a slow ballad turns into a great upbeat song. However, the lyrics of this song make it a song of hope for the future, yet still holding onto the solace of the current situation. The ending of this song is beautiful, sounding like it’s a memoir to someone.

Lost:
Like Love Goes On, this song expresses its emotions through more than lyrics. The halting nature of the rhythm in this song really goes well with the idea of being lost. Again, the combination of rock-style guitars and synth in this track is just incredible.

Asian Night:
When I hear this song, I think of The Box and Biting Her Nails, because of Keiko’s rapping. The feeling of this song is pretty dark, almost a feeling of exploring the more questionable sides of a city’s nightlife. Which I think they’re trying to do; the chorus seems to discuss a foreigner’s unsure need to explore Asian culture.

Goodbye Now:
This song is an interesting mix of heavy trance rhythms and a predominant acoustic guitar and keyboard. It is also the only song where Marc raps in French. As most of the songs on this album, parts of the chorus are pretty catchy and will stick in your head. It has an unfinished feel to it, though.

Feel Like The Wind:
The chorus for this song is very pretty, and blends trance rhythms with a piano in the foreground. Like the rest of the songs on this album, it’s not as trance as Level 4, but rather, it represents a step forward from that album.

Judgement:
I love this song. It starts off with a chorus just chanting very melodically, and moves into the rock beat, with Marc providing a somewhat eerie background vocal. Keiko reaches particularly high notes in this song, and rather successfully. They are further reinforced during the chorus by a driving beat and TK’s high trance melodies. Like Expectation, this song is extremely dynamic. In particular I love Marc’s bridge as he raps to an electric guitar rhythm.

Shift:
First off, this song surprised me, because Keiko actually says mother f***er at the opening. Beyond that, this song starts with an acoustic guitar rhythm that sounds like a medieval song. After the opening verse, it moves to the chorus with an electric guitar leading Keiko through melodies. The medieval sound returns and guides Marc through his rapping. It has a back-and-forth feeling to it, overall, especially in Keiko’s chorus.

See The Next Page:
This is an instrumental track by TK. This is the only pure trance track on the album, and is very good. It gives a sense of flying, really, in my opinion. I really like it, but I wish it was longer. Maybe an extended version will be available in the future.

Overall, I like this album a lot. I think my favorites are Love Goes On, Expectation, Lost, Asian Night, and Judgement; Judgement is my favorite. It really does show how Globe has mastered, and are leaders in, their art.

Globe is back! Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
After 5 horrible years where Globe wallowed in the land of repetative unoriginal trance (aside from a few gems like Many Classic Moments and Over the Rainbow), the real Globe is back! The music finally has heart and passion again! Rock is once again part of their sound, which is what always gave their more poppy numbers the underpinning they needed to be taken seriously. I can't recommend this album more, now if only they'd put out a band score....

excitement for a new endevour. Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
first off, i have listened to clips of all the tracks from both the official globe website as well as on iTunes, so my opinions are based on the music itself, not just my strong feelings for globe (for all of those who want to dismiss this review as just "cheerleading"). second off, this album deserves much more recognition than it isn't receiving. from just listening to the fourty-five seconds of each clip on the official website, my excitement has grown stronger and stronger each day for the newest album from globe. the first reviewer is right- the combination of both old globe (i.e. dance pop, stereotypical j-pop) and new globe (i.e. a more hardcore, deep trance feeling) gives globe a breath of fresh air, injecting something reminiscent with a bit of future. while that can make some of the songs sound dated to the ears of some, i find myself visiting the globe website more and more just to listen to the clips. i'm not expecting high rankings or big sales numbers for this album, but i know that this will most likely be in the list of my top five albums of 2005.
