However, as they progressed, i wasn't really "wowed" by a lot of their singles. Their latest single, however, has really impressed me. All of them have really tightened their vocal skills. Their song, "My Everything" is really beautiful, and it isn't overdone; the A capella "Faith" is really well done also. After seeing them perform live for their latest single, i must say, they have improved their live singing, and now have really put themselves in a position to possibly become one of the top female Korean groups. if you don't believe me, my advice is to buy the single and listen for yourself. September 15, 2006 ExcellentZhang Li Yin is absolutely amazing. I think it's unfair to compare her to BoA, because BoA has many fans already, which in turn, possibly loses Zhang Li Yin's credibility as a good singer when always compared to her (usually, i've seen her compared to BoA in a negative way). However, overall, the single is really smooth and easy to listen to. Her rendition of "Timeless" is, in my opinion, better than Kelly Clarkson's and Justin Guarini's version. "Why" is just a great song to listen to when you just feel like laying back and doing nothing...Her voice is so soulful to me, and if we're comparing in terms of BoA, as many have done, i feel that she has a more vibrant image and feeling to her music. her song "Why" feels like one of those songs you listen to on rainy days (and what a coincidence, rainy season is almost here!) June 22, 2006 It's pretty goodThe album overall was very good. However, i wish there had been more collaboration between the artists, like they did with the older Summer/Winter Vacation albums. All the tracks are done by one group or solo artist only, something I wish SM didn't do, because i believe collab between artists were what made these Summer Vacation albums so unique. Its kind of deceiving when they say Isak and other idle SM stars will be singing in the album, when really, they only sing one line from the title song. I was also dissapointed when Shoo was not going to be in this album (i like shoo lol). I thought CSJH's "Catch the Shooting Star" was a very good song, along with BoA's "Touch," Super Junior's "Smile!" and KangTa's "Summer Night Love." they all have a different style and flair added to each melody. If you're interested in listening to some smooth, pop-jazz type of music, this CD is a must buy for everyone. I especially enjoy listening to track 2 and 11. some of her songs remind me of korean soap opera themes, such as track 4 and 6...but nevertheless, are still good. This CD, also, has been the first one that I was able to get through without vigorously changing the tracks. Lexy fans you will not be disappointed! i especially like track 3. track three somewhat reminds me of gwen stefani's beat to "hollaback girl," but the song shows originality at the same time.
