surprisingly good.

I have had very low expectations before watching this movie. First of all, a non-melodramatic gay flick set in the midst of a gay beauty pageant? However I was very surprised when I watched it. It is a very good kind of comedy- a very decent comedic taste, with surprisingly daring cinematography (the movie tried lots of styles - daring and dangerous when executed incorrectly). Parodies were randomly injected throughout the movie. I would rate this movie surprisingly good. And of course the handsome gay guys are the ultimate bonus. |
