YesAsia Editorial Description

The third God of Gamblers film features neither Chow Yun Fat nor Andy Lau, but enter in Stephen Chow! The hit Hong Kong funnyman reprises the role of Sing, the superpowered "Saint of Gamblers", in God of Gamblers Part III: Back to Shanghai! When a rival sends a gang of psychic kung-fu warriors after Sing, the resulting ESP battle royale opens up a space-time wormhole, and Sing is flung back to Hong Kong circa 1937! There, he meets an effeminate ancestor (Richard Ng Man Tat), as well as popular fictional character Ding Lik from the TVB series The Bund, here played by that show's same actor, Ray Lui! Ding Lik enlists Sing's help to beat up some bad guys, but Sing has other issues: an encounter with beautiful identical twins, both played by Mainland acting goddess Gong Li! Sing falls for one of the sisters, but can he keep her if he returns to his original time? Featuring hilarious action sequences, Stephen Chow's patented nonsense comedy charm, and the requisite gambling hijinks, God of Gamblers Part III: Back to Shanghai is a gut-busting and all-out entertaining movie that could only come from the mind of Hong Kong's supreme comedy hit-maker, director Wong Jing!

Kudos Stephen Chow Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
Perhaps not the best but you have to hand it to Stephen Chow for instilling his own creativity & humor to themes such as time travel & gambling. I don't know why but no matter how familiar I am with Stephen Chow's style in use of something mystic, it always surprises me somehow. (is it because he executes the ridiculous so seriously & convincingly that makes him irrisitably funny?) Not practically bust out laughing but certainly entertaining.

Movie Question??? Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
i really enjoyed the songs in this movie. Especially the female singing the song at the end. Can anyone please tell me who sung any or all of the songs in the movie? And this movie is also a must have and its prequel as well. Tai Seng makes damn fine movies.
