哥斯拉突然從海底出現，於東海村登陸將市內的建築物及發電廠完全破壞，雖然自隊向哥斯拉展開猛烈攻擊，但卻完全阻止不了它前進。另一方面，危機管理情報局的官博士於茨城縣的海溝發現直徑200米的古代隕石，後來隕石內的有機物質與哥斯拉相遇並自我進化成巨大怪獸奧加，而哥斯拉就與奧加在西新宿展開一場生死戰。

哥斯拉在電影高潮戲份當中，會與一架銀色閃閃、有殺錯冇放過的死亡UFO進行大對決，到時候哥斯拉勢必擘大口向著放死光的飛碟噴大火，十分頂癮。

Godzilla suddenly appears from the bottom of the sea and fiercely destroys the buildings and the electrical complex in town. The army uses its best weapons to stop the powerful Godzilla, but in vain. On the other hand, the Crisis Management Intelligent Bureau discovers a huge ancient stony meteorite. The organic materials of this meteorite can evolve to become a giant monster, which stages a life-or-death fight with Godzilla. In the final climax, Godzilla faces the attack of a cyber deadly UFO.

Gojira is back. Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
After seeing the US Godzilla (Gojira to the Japanese) I almost lost faith that there would never be a good Gojira movie after the 1995 Gojira vs. Desutoroia.But directer Kazuki Omori brings Gojira back to the way he should be. The movie doesn't have much of a plot,but when was the last time you saw a Gojira movie for the plot? Gojira fire SFX has never look better.In this ver. you see somethings they cut out in the US Godzilla 2000. So if you don't have the US ver. or if your a real big fan of Gojira,you should get this one.

The last time I saw a Godzilla film was when I was 12 and fell in love with the "cheesiness" of it. Having skipped the American fiasco, I was really looking forward to Godzilla 2000. While the battle sequence were all I could have hoped for, the plot was very thin. From the first scenes of a scientist tracking Godzilla (with his daughter and newspaper photographer in tow) as he emerges from the sea to attack a power plant, I found it hard to get interested in the characters. The government wants to kill Godzilla and the scientist wants to study him, but their animosity toward each other never seemed real. Hopefully, the plot holes will be explained in future movies- maybe that's why there was so many- and the reviews will interest me enough to take a further look.
