YesAsia Editorial Description

Though the Japanese armed forces believe that they killed Godzilla fifty years ago, they are proven wrong when the giant green beast destroys a U.S. submarine and causes other similar, tragic events. Godzilla finally appears, prompting a powerful old Japanese mystic to summon the Holy Beasts of Yamato--King Ghidorah, Mothra, and Baragon, a trio that protected Japan in ancient times. The three giant monsters collide with Godzilla in a battle of awesome scope and power.

Godzilla rises again! Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
This is my favorite of all the Godzilla movies. By focussing on a father and daughter (the father leading the military fight against Godzilla and the daughter reporting on the fight), the human side of the story is interesting. And there is lots of intriguing hokum about how Baragon, Mothra, and Ghidorah are empowered by the souls of all the people who died during World War II.

But what really makes the film stand out is the battle scenes. The film's special effects really are spectacular. I just find this film to be a much more complete and more entertaining film than any of the other Godzilla flicks.

Where is Godzilla? Customer Review Rated Bad 5 - 5 out of 10
This is meant to be the best of the modern Godzilla movies and there are lots of monsters, the effects are great and the story is very good but I hate it, because of Godzilla!
Only my opinion and everyone has their favourites but he just looks like a waddling chicken in this one, I prefer the Godzilla 2000 look!
The other monsters, Baragon, Mothra and Ghidorah look fantastic and I love the directing and the fight scenes, especially with Baragon at the tourist resort, but I just do not like the godzilla suit and it spoils the whole film for me.

Extremely well done. Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I'm writing this review from the point of view of an age old Kaiju fan, who has watched everything from Gamera, to The Mysterians, to Godzilla, and even King Kong. You ask about it, chances are I own it in one form or another. Coming into this movie, my expectations weren't all that high. Sure, Shusuke Kaneko had done an impressive job with the Gamera series, so much so that I became an avid fan. However, this worried me. The past two alternate unvierse movies weren't exactly the grandure comeback I, and many others hoped it to be. Thats not to say they were not enjoyable, but they didn't quite live up to the standards set by their prequels. So when I was told that they were to make yet another Godzilla movie, I picked up the movie hesitantly. I popped it into my dvd player, and generally just hoped for the best. Was this movie going to live up to the standards set by the original? I mean, afterall, it was supposedly a direct sequel to the original movie. The movie started off promisingly enough. I especially chuckled at the refernce to the American Godzilla movie. As I sat through the movie, it came to mind, that it hadn't led me to be bored. In fact, it was following the same path as the original in the way it waited about half an hour before actually introducing the lead monster, and what an introduction it was. If the movie was able to hold my attention, while only giving me hints and glimpses at The monsters, than what I had was a winner. I cheerfully sat through the rest of the movie, intrigued every step of the way. Something I had not felt since I viewed Godzilla vs Mothra. Here's my advice to any kaiju fans, or someone who just wants to have a damn good time. Go to this site, and buy the movie. It will not disappoint, in fact, it may attract new kaiju fans with its intriguing storyline, cast of characters, and tasteful use of cgi. Come one Come all, Godzilla is back in town.

Godzilla rules!!! Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
The storyline of this movie happens in an alternate universe so don't expect this movie to even acknowledge the other Godzilla movies including Godzilla 2000 and Godzilla X Megaguirus (which were also set in other alternate universes). However as a stand alone Godzilla movie this is in my opinion the best one of the three alternate universe movies. It brings back the original savagery and destructive nature of the original Godzilla and combines them with the same kind of movie magic that made the Gamera trilogy of the 1990's a worthy challenger to all the other kaiju movies that had come before it including the Godzilla movies of the 1980's and the 1990's. The only complaint that I have about this movie is that the VCD has a Cantonese voice dubbed over the original Japanese dialogue but the original Japanese dialogue is still being used throughout the whole movie. It feels like I had the Japanese actors talking to me in my right ear and the Cantonese actors in my left. If anyone knows how to turn off the Cantonese voices that have been dubbed over the Japanese dialogue please let us know so that we can turn off that awful distraction and enjoy the movie with the Japanese dialogue only. All in all this is beyond a shadow of a doubt the best kaiju movie since Gamera: Guardian of the Universe.

This customer review refers to Godzilla - Mothra And King Ghidorah Giant Monsters All-Out Attack (Hong Kong Version)
ALL-OUT MONSER ACTION Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
We watch a lot of Godzilla movies & this one is one of the best. My wife even commented on how good the effects were. The first half hour is light on monsters but the plot is halfway decent. My son didn't even mind that it was in Japanese. The VCD has Japanese on the left & Chinese on the Right channel. Make sure you have a player that can pick L or R on a VCD. My computer can't do this and both languages at once is really annoying. The sound & picture are a little better than VHS quality.
