fair to say the least

soft picture,english subs are combined on the screen with chinese subs,would have been better seperately. Get this only if you cant find an english US version, otherwise pass it up. |

It certainly IS widescreen...
| ...and anamorphic, as well. I don't know what the above reviewer is talking about. Yeah, you'll probably not use this disc to show off your HT system, but considering the only other legit G VS. BIOLLANTE DVD is the $60 Toho disc that has *no* English subtitles, this is really a nice little package. The picture is a little soft and there's some artifacting here and there (it is a single layer disc). But other than that, a very acceptable transfer. Extremely affordable disc, in anamorphic widescreen with English subs: what's not to like? |
