Gonna Get You (Hong Kong Version) VCD

Those who grew up in Hong Kong in the 1970s definitely remember the Wynners, a band formed by Alan Tam, Kenny Bee, Bennett Pang, Danny Yip, and Anthony Chan. They first dabbled into the film industry with Let's Rock in 1975, and in 1976 they made their second movie as a band, titled Gonna Get You, which was also tailored for them. This comedy's focus basically falls on Alan Tam and Kenny Bee, who are still very active in the entertainment circle today. The story evolves around a drug dealer trying to smuggle narcotics to the States with help of a band's (played by the Wynners, of course) guitar. But Kenny Bee feels there is something fishy about the guitar and uncovers the crime... The success of Let's Rock and Gonna Get You paved the way for more Wynners movies in the 1970s like Making It and Lucky by Chance.

溫拿樂隊準備應邀赴美國演唱。黑社會首領教叔，欲趁其不備，將藏有毒品之結他與他們的調換運往美國。後由於溫拿赴美演唱之夜總會發生火警，惟有折返。教叔見計劃失敗，著令手下大泡和、安妮、珍娜將結他換返。三人想盡辦法，卻始終無法將結他取回。後溫拿五虎察覺結他有問題，阿B遂將車尾之結他撬開，竟發現藏有白粉。阿B撥電報警，後警方要求五虎協助破案，但無結果。溫拿在大會堂排演，期間，四虎外出吃飯，陳友獨留化妝間睡覺。大泡和潛入，偷走結他。陳友醒覺暗中追蹤，四虎察覺後亦尾隨而至。五虎跟蹤至教叔古堡，被發現後慌忙逃出。教叔恐秘密外洩，率眾手下追至大會堂，終被現場便衣警探圍捕落網。

The five members of the band the Wynners are all packing up, ready for a singing tour in USA. Uncle Kau, a boss of a triad, planning to exchange their guitars with narcotics inside with the Wynners', so that their narcotics can be carried to USA. But he fails, as the Wynners has to cancel their plan, for a fire broke out in the night club. Uncle Kau thus dispatches three of his followers Wo, Anny and Jane to steal back the guitars. They fail again even though they've tried their best. When the Wynners finds out the narcotics in the guitars, they report it to the police and are required to help the police with the case.

It comes to the time when the Wynners performs at the City Hall. Wo sneaks in and steals the guitars but follows by Anthony, a member of the Wynners, who notices it. The other then follow as they find it out.

When Anthony enters Uncle Kau's castle, he's discovered and overpowered but fortunately rescued by the other four. Uncle Kau and his men then are under arrest finally.
