I took notice of Yui's music after hearing a couple of amazing theme songs from the Bleach anime series: namely 'Rolling Star' and 'Life'. Thereafter, I decided to check-out the rest of her music. This girl is simply talented at song writing and is gifted with a sweet, beautiful voice. Her music is so catchy, it has to be heard to believe. My fav is Good-bye days. 10/10 |

This Cd containes all the songs that was featured in Yui's movie "Taiyou no Uta" (A song to the sun)-which was really good btw. And these three songs are one of my favorites out of all Yui's songs so this single is a def must get! |

YUI's most solid single yet.

The minute I had finished listening to this single, "LIFE", YUI's third single, was knocked off the no. 1 position for her singles in my mind. The title track, "Good-bye days", is the theme song to YUI's acting debut movie, "Taiyou no Uta". It also happens to be my favorite YUI song. This is a song with simple but meaningful lyrics and a touching melody. She puts so much emotion into this song (as always, haha). Whenever she sings "I wish", it sends chills up and down my spine. It's emotional enough to even make me cry a few times while listening to it. The b-side, "Skyline", has a very catchy chorus and is my second favorite b-side of hers. Her English is somewhat inaccurate, but I find it to be cute and very "YUI". The other track on this single, "It's happy line", was on her Indies single, also called "It's happy line", but now it has been included here. For YUI fans (like me) who did not get a chance to grab her limited Indies release, this song is a nice bonus to this single. This is a MUST-buy; the awesome cover and awesome songs added to with YUI's unique charm make this single complete. |
