Like the Sylvia Chang film Twenty Thirty Forty, new Mainland drama Gorgeous Adventure peeks into the love and losses of three women in three different decades of their lives. Hong Kong beauties Athena Chu and Cecilia Yip and Mainland actress Liu Xiaojing (51 Hao Bing Zhan) shine in this sensitive drama about the hopes and trials of today's modern women. Hong Kong director Grammy Chu, whose previous work includes the film Un Baiser Vole and drama Project A, helms the production. ATV actor Ricky Chan (Ming Ming, Confession of Pain) and Mainland actors Zhao Yang (The Younger Bao Qing Tian III) and Zhao Yi co-star as the various men who enter and exit the leading ladies' lives.

On her 40th birthday, old maid Zi'ang (Cecilia Yip) comes across a ring and witnesses the car accident and death of the ring owner. Curious about the owner's identity, Zi'ang decides to find out the story behind the ring, and even drags her good friends, 30-year-old housewife Meizhen (Athena Chu) and 26-year-old belly dancing teacher Tong (Liu Xiaojing), into the search. What started out as innocent curiosity brings an unexpected rollercoaster of drama into the seemingly settled lives of these three women, as Meizhen falls into an extramarital affair and relationships develop and unravel.

　　故事是由一枚戒指引起的……

　　“白（領）骨（幹）精（英）”級別的老姑娘刑子昂（葉童飾演）在自己40歲生日的那天意外得到了這枚戒指，緊接著，她目睹了這枚戒指的原主人—青年舞蹈家許治平（何建澤飾演）遭遇車禍而身亡的全過程。
