December 6, 2008 EXCELLENT!
Janice shows why she is one of the better and more talented singers in Hong Kong with her clear, passionate, and powerful vocals. Her cantonese has improved as well - adding to clarity to her voice. I listened to all the songs in the album without skipping, and I can hear all the potential #1 hits. From powerful ballads to sweet pop songs, it's a refreshing album!
I also just bought and listened to Vincy's new album, whom Janice is often compared to, and I just don't see how they can be measured at the same level. Talent-wise, I think Janice has the slighter edge.
I would recommend all the songs, especially 如水. With 14 total songs, it is DEFINITELY an album worth waiting for!

November 3, 2007 Love her voice!
Ever since I bought this album, I couldn't stop listening to it! Janice's voice is sweet and soothing, and very refreshing. I don't think many hk female singers really stand out, but Janice definitely has talent!
When is she coming out with a new album?!

April 9, 2002 not that good
There is nothing too provocative about this film. The plot is kind of senseless. The sex is mediocre at best. And don't expect too much 'skin' from Christy Chung.

November 3, 2001 Surprised!
Track #1 is definitely my favorite, and a good way to start the album. It has character and spunk! This album is quite different from her previous albums, but it just proves that she is a talented and versatile singer. Track #7 is something...it has style. This album gives me a chance to be exposed to other artists/composers. Track #10, composed by Wu Bai, is also one of my favorites, next to "Wings of Light." Track #9 is a little too weird for me too - but I think Faye gives it character. Vertigo, written by Nic Tse is a beautiful song. At first, I did not like it because it sounded like a typical HK love song. But Faye made the song beautiful, especially when she hits all the high notes - absolutely stunning! Gotta give credit to Nic Tse for his talent, but he still needs to work on his singing. Track #3 from the Cantonese EP is catchy - great melody! Even though "Colour Blind" was a great hit before the album was released, but to be honest, i don't really like the song. I like the introduction and the arrangement, but it doesn't feel like a "Faye" song - Maybe I still need to get use to it. I do feel the absence of Zhang Ya Dong and CY Kong, but the album is still good. Hopefully, her next album will incorporate songs written by herself, Ya Dong and CY Kong. those three together make great music. I can't wait until her next album.
