Insane Comedy!
|
This is a comedy that you don't want to miss. It's dark humor at its best. The cast was well picked and they all did an excellent job on their acting. I think the director is brilliant with a sense of humor. I love Won Bin with his soliloquy on 'Love'. Pay attention to its content! Don't miss it! :) |

This movie is ridiculously funny. It's the first Korean DVD I chose to buy and I'm not regretting it. I've watched it more than just the one time after it came in the mail and every time it seems to be a little funnier than the last because I'm noticing more and more little things. Even though it was slightly bizarre in some places (the whole "he's in love" part), the rest of the movie still makes up for it; especially the interactions between the two brothers. I love this movie and it is by far one of my favourite! |

Better than I thought
|
I bought this movie on 05/09/08 and I just watched it today. That shows you how much I wanted to see the film. I had to myself sit down to watch this movie. The beginning was not that interesting. Then I got into the story and able to finish it all in one sitting . It actually has some real interesting parts. It is not a laugh out loud movie but enough to keep me interested. I especaiily like the elevator scene, the opera scene , the dance scene and the police station scene. I got this movie because of Won Bin but I think the leader of the gang , the detective and the guy who fell in love with the target actually stole the show. |

Criminally entertaining
|
This movie allows us a glimpse into the lives of assassins. In my honest opinion, they don't seem like hard core killers but they DO kill people for a fee. Described as the quartet of male assassins, the group aim to please their clients to the point of going after a police car carrying the person they're supposed to kill. That's how dedicated our boys are to their craft. Anyway, a detective becomes suspicious and begins conducting a surveillance into the group's activities. This does not do well for our unlikely heroes who are to stage their biggest assignment yet - the girl of their dreams hires them to kill her boyfriend and it has to be done during a Hamlet play, in front of thousands of people. With the cops on to them, will our assassins be able to pull this one off? Surprisingly, I found myself thoroughly entertained by the movie. It wasn't at all boring despite the fact that there were more 'talks' than 'guns'. The actors were quite funny wuthout trying hard to be so. Although there were unbelievable scenes far and in between, you just have to suspend your disbelief and enjoy the movie for what it is - a funny one. 7 kimchi dishes out of 10. |

Good action
|
This is quite an interesting action flick. All the actors really played their pretty well. Shifting from being assasins to ordinary citizens. Especially when they were being approach and questions if they can kill. Won Bin is really cute in this film playing the youngest of the assasins. Worth buying. |

My friend actually let me borrow Guns & Talks, telling me it was a funny movie. I have to agree. I didn't expect much from this movie, I expected it to be an action flick, of course, based on the description and the cover. Instead, what I got was something quite different. This movie is masked as an action flick, but if action is what you're looking for, try a different movie. This movie has little action in it, but it has a quite a bit of upbeat, light humor, especially tword the end. This movie also made me fall in love with Won Bin and Shin Hyun Jun, so I will be keeping my eye on them because of this video. If you already like one of the actors in this movie, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this if I were you. This movie is for anyone wanting a change of pace. |

this is one of the best films i ever seen, i live in england but still loved this film, all de actors are a funny bunch and the whole spin on the film is great because ti shows everybody has a human side, which is why this film appealled to me. and just the comical parts like when the youngest does the little talk on love (i think it was a parody) but it was excellent and the big 'hit' in the end which they were hired for was really clever. GO BUY THIS MOVIE o yeaaa the sound track is excellent aswell like the main theme if i could speak/ write korean/cantonese i wud send the actors n makers lotsa praise..but i cant |

great fun movie

I quite enjoyed this - very unexpectedly funny since I actually thought it would be action...the characters were very likeable and looked at assassins from a different angle. Enjoyable and worth seeing on a boring afternoon for a bit of a laugh. :D |

So boring movie
|
I regret to buy this movie because, despite the presentation, it is not an action-packed movie as expected. If you're waiting for John Woo movie with a lot of gun-fights, this film is not for you. A lot of talking but so few action. I don't spot the funny side of this movie so, it's so boring !! |

Talking guns!
|
Guns and talks is a fine and entertaining movie. The plot revolves around 4 guns for hire assasins, showing their humane side and how standoffish killing people are. Action is well-balanced with the comedy. I really like the treatment of the funny scenes, where you find yourself snickering at one scene and then laughing out loud the next without even realizing it. Cast was great but I have to give the ball to Won Bin. He's adorable as the youngest assasin, being somewhat naive, he gives his inner thoughts as the narrator. Overall the movie is great! Pick it up, it's worth your while. |
