Over a year after Kagayaku Hito, singer-songwriter Angela Aki returns with her first 2011 single Hajimari no Ballade. The touching ballad is also the theme song for the television drama Namae wo Nakushita Megami, starring Anne and Kimura Yoshino. The single also includes I Have a Dream, the theme song for the Washington National Gallery art show by Nippon TV, and Angela's cover of Radiohead's Creep as B-side tracks.

First Press Edition comes with a bonus DVD with footage from Angela's Awa no My Keys concert, held in her native Tokushima Prefecture.
